Publisher's Summary

Fighting for love - across the centuries.

On a whisky tour in the Scottish Highlands, former Marine and bodyguard Konnor Mitchell tumbles down a steep ravine. Before he can get his bearings, a Highland faerie pitches him back in time to 1308.

Highlander Marjorie Cambel swore never to let another man victimize her. Finding a handsome stranger wounded and trapped at the bottom of a ravine, she rescues him.

With the clan who kidnapped and assaulted Marjorie years ago plotting to attack Glenkeld Castle and steal her son, Konnor longs to protect the woman who’s touched his heart. Will he abandon his responsibilities in the 21st century and put his life on the line for love?

Nice experience

This time travel story was a welcome difference in the ending where two of the characters travel to the future.

Terrible narrating

The story is good, not as good as the first book in this series. But the male narrator can’t do a Scottish accent at all. It’s almost comical to listen to a Scottish romance with the characters sounding like they have a Mexican accent. The female narrator did a bit better but she could only do a Scottish accent on the heroine, then in an effort to distinguish character voices she loses the accent. The reason this book isn’t a five star rating based simply on the story itself is because the author did too many repeat statements. These narrators need to go back to the drawing board and learn accents all over again.
