Very well done!

I am an Outlander fan and have been looking in vain for another time travel book. This fit the bill perfectly. I was impressed with Keira Stevens - she handled the accents and different characters admirably.

I found it hard to relate with the female character maybe because I am 35 but she kinda annoyed me lol over all an on book for a romance novel. So far I read book one bought two hopefully the story gets better. Book one was alot of her being a kinda a cry baby. Lol

was different from my usual read. left too many holes in the tales with an ending that means a sequel is in the works.

Cute story

I enjoyed this book, it’s a different kind of time travel story. I liked that the FMC was a bit spoiled, but she shows growth. I am interested to see where her character goes.

Kaitlyn is the type of woman I avoid in real life

The main female character Kaitlyn is unforgivably vain, vapid and immature. If she’s not out getting trashed, she’s wallowing in self pity or telling herself she looks “hot”.
I swear to god if I had to hear her say; “I looked great”, “I looked so pretty”, “ I look hot” (or some version of it said ad nauseam) I will scream. Also the use of “hey girlfriend” and “you know it girl”...I feel less intelligent having listened to this book.

Already addicted to this series!

I LOVE AUDIOBOOKS! They are making it so easy to get through my TBR by being able to listen to them while at work!

Kaitlyn and the Highlander has been on my TBR for sometime but I had not gotten the chance to dive into it until I got the opportunity to review the audiobook!

I am officially and completely addicted to this story. As soon as I finished the audiobook for Kaitlyn and the Highlander I immediately used an audible credit to download the second book, Time and Space Between Us. I have to know what happens!

A big part of why I want to continue the story is because I want Kaitlyn to grow on me. She is incredibly immature and super whiney. That being said, there is just something about her that keeps my rooting for her and wanting her to end up with Magnus. I have a feeling that she is going to grow up a lot throughout this story and I’m excited to see her character develop.

I do wonder how I would feel about her character had I read this book versus listening to it. The narrator’s voice definitely makes the character come off this way and I wonder if that was on purpose.

But - who doesn’t love a Scottish hero in a kilt? Magnus instantly captured my heart. I can not wait to see all the adventures the author is going to have him go on in this series!

Loved it!

This is the first book in the Kaitlyn and the Highlander Series, a Contemporary Romance mixed with a Historical Romance, and a time travel story. This story is hilarious, entertaining, and sweet, filled with mystery. Magnus and Kaitlyn are great characters. Magnus is hilarious! The secondary characters are great and they have an important part in this story. Keira Stevens did a great job with the narration. The characters were easy to distinguish. I love Magnus's Scottish accent. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Time and Space Between Us. #AudiobookObsession
