The Hidden

The continued story...part 2. When I really enjoy a series I look for the audiobook to listen to the retelling. It is such an enjoyable experience.

Pure DELIGHT

All those twists and turns - just could stop listening. I did chores that I normally avoid while I listened and listened. I haven't wanted to turn the TV on all day

Definitely worth continuing!

Hidden Heart sure showed me that this series was DEFINITELY worth continuing. I'll have to admit, I was only mildly interested in seeing where this story would go in the first installment, but the second REALLY took off. It started out so simple, I didn't think it would climax like it did! I found myself liking the characters MUCH more as I got to journey with them, and I am happy to say my slow (SLOW) burn romance desires were fulfilled. Patrick really took it away with this one!

Not to mention her voiceover as DeLuca? I really think she is able to bring these characters to life in a way that no one else can. I am particularly impressed with the many different type of accents and especially how DEEPLY she can voice the male characters. There were some moments that Ryan started to sound a lite bit like Gigi, but I don't think many people would notice that.

In any case, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed reading Hidden Heart and I am SO glad I decided to continue with this series!

Fan Girl

The 2nd book of the Hidden Saga dove us into Nox’s story. In the first book, Lad paints us a picture of who Nox is and Ryan trust him so assumes that is true of his character until she finds out that he is Elven and gets to know the real side of him. My own perception changed as well from the first book and now it feels like she is destined to be with Nox! We shall see what happens because Lad is still pining for her even though he is betrothed to another.

Great Book!

I’ve really enjoyed the first two books of this trilogy. I can’t wait to start the next one. The narrator does a great job brining the story to life.

Undercover

In book 1, our Ryan learned all about this special community. In book 2 she goes under cover to save her bestie from those taking advantage. She learns so much about herself but also looses herself. Like book 1 this is well written and the narration is perfection! If you liked book 1, you won’t be able to put this down. If you are considering giving the series a chance rest assured it’s a good one and worth the effort!

Better than book 1 and I loved book 1!

Sometimes book 2 is a let down but this one I loved even more! It’s so good! I highly recommend if you like an amazing drama filled Fae romance with an outstanding narrator! I can’t wait to find out what happens next, the ending was crazy!

Lost heart!

Wow another great story! What would it be like to lose the love of your life! Narrator was awesome!

Second Book

I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first one for some reason. It was off from the moment it started and captured my mind. I was sad when I had to pause it to go do things that didn't work with listening to audiobooks. There were so many feels in this book and I enjoy the characters even more in this book. I was released to find out what happened next after that cliffhanger in the first book and was not disappointed. I can't wait for the next book in this series! These characters and this world are so amazing! I can't wait to see what comes next with the next book.

Loved it

This book pick up right where book one ends. Ryann goes to California to find her friend with the help of Nox. This story pulls at the heart strings as Ryann discovers more about her self. This series is amazing so far.

Fantastic!

Ryann fell for Lad then found out he was the Prince of the Light court an ancient Fae race, but after his father was murdered he walked away from Ryann to rule his kingdom breaking her heart in the process. He asks his dark Fae friend Nox to look after Ryann. But Ryann isn't keen on Nox as he's used to glamour on her when singing and she doesn't trust him. But when her best friend Emmy joins a fan pod for a top celebrity and the celebrities are dark Fae who use the girls for the own pleasure Ryann knows she has to save her friend. So Ryann decides to leave her home in Mississippi to go to Los Angeles and after Lad refuses to help her Nox offers to help. Being a famous musician in a pop group Nox is able to smuggle Ryann in as one of his girls in his fan pod. Ryann may just learn more about herself and her feelings for Lad and Nox while trying to save her friend.
As with the first book The narration was really good and believable. The story follows on from book 1 and was brilliant and kept me hooked from beginning to end. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to listen to book 3. This is a really great series. I received an audible copy of this book from the author but the opinions expressed in review are my own.

I thought I would miss Lad in this book but actually the development of Nox I really loved seeing a more vulnerable side. The characters continued to grow and also Ryann proved to be a little naive at times too which was nice to show in such a strong character! The description and plot continues to grow and become more interesting than ever with secrets and still a lot of answers needed. Looking forward to even more!
