Publisher's summary

Wade Abbott is one and done.

One look, one conversation, one weekend, and he knows who he wants.

Except Mia Simpson is not free to return his affection. In fact he suspects she's in an abusive marriage, but she never confirms that, and he has no choice but to mind his own business where she's concerned.

Two years after they first met and a year after he last heard from her, Mia shows up half frozen, bruised, and beaten on his doorstep, needing something only Wade can provide.

He's determined to make it work, no matter the cost.

Kept me guess from the first page all the way to the last

I could not stop listening to Wade and Mai’s journey. With every flip of the page is was in suspense about what was going to happen and how the family would all come together to support Wade.

I Love This Series

Marie Force never disappoints. I love all of her books. It’s a toss though between the Gansett Island series or the Butler Mtn. series as to my favorite. But then I love the Fatal series too and... you get the point. I was so happy to read Wade & Mia’s story and extra happy that Fred the moose made another appearance. You won’t be disappointed with any Marie Force book you choose to read that’s for sure.

Loved it

Reading a Butler Vermont book to me is like going home to visit my family. I love the Abbott and Coleman families and thoroughly enjoyed Here Comes The Sun.
I have been intrigued by Wade Abbott from the first time he was mentioned and my interest has only been peaked as each book in the series was written. So to say I have been waiting for Wade’s book is an understatement.
Marie Force did not disappoint in any way. It is an extremely well written sweet, sexy and romantic book. Marie Force's characters are often slightly flawed, yet so realistic and relatable that you cannot help but be drawn in. Here Comes The Sun shows us that you when you know it is right, it is right and that no matter what you should follow your heart, even when at times your head is advising caution.
Wade Abbott was enthralled with Mia Simpson from the first time he met her at a yoga retreat 2 years ago and although he has not seen or heard from her in over a year, he has never forgotten the beautiful women who captured his heart.
When Wade finds a nearly frozen Mia unexpectedly on his doorstep he has no intention of turning her away. Obviously she too has felt the pull of attraction, otherwise why would she have shown up in Butler? What follows is a surprising and at times heart wrenching story of determination, courage, strength and above all love and acceptance.
As always we caught up on other members of the family which was great and I read this book in almost one sitting, I was so entranced and riveted to the story. Marie Force. I’ve said it before and I will continue to say it, I would love to be adopted by this family.
This is one of my most favourite series and one I highly recommend. I cannot wait for the next book in the series which promises to be amazing based on the ending in Here Comes The Sun.

Always satisfied!

I've been waiting for this book, so glad it is finally here. So nice to visit the family members and to catch up with their lives. Wade and Mia's story was captivating. Wish it was longer and took us a couple of years more into their lives. How you come up with a different love story for every couple is delightful. Enjoy!

Wade and Mia were worth the wait!

I am not sure how she does it, but Marie Force continues to write an amazing story with Here Comes the Sun. I laughed, I cried, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen. I have been a huge fan of this series from the start and Wade's story in Here Comes the Sun was a fantastic read!

Wade Abbott has been the quiet one. He keeps to himself in the bedlam of what he calls his beloved family. As number six, he sure knows how to keep out of the spotlight, but in Here Comes the Sun, he is smack dab in the middle of his entire family, catching them off guard.

Wade has been interested in Mia, since the day he met her at a Yoga retreat. He knew that she was involved with someone else, but valued her friendship. He felt a connection to her like no other before or after meeting her. He had a nagging feeling something was not right, but had no idea what it was until the day she shows up at his doorstep battered and bruised.

Mia has had Wade in her heart for a long time. She knew that she needed to get out of her situation but had to wait until the time was right. When she fled, she went to the one place she had dreamed of being. Wade.

I absolutely love how Marie intricately weaves multiple storylines into a stand alone novel. I am always amazed at how connected I am to each of the memorable characters and their trials and tribulations. I cannot wait to get more from the Butler Vermont series. I love being able to catch up with past characters as well as see possibilities for plot lines to come. Marie is an amazing talent and I definitely want more of this series (sooner, than later please!)

PS - The audio version of this book was highly entertaining. Joan Delaware does an amazing job of narrating this incredible story. Paired with Marie's words the two make for a fantastic experience.

Here comes the sun

I really like the title from darkness did come sun happiness. The family togetherness was quite dynamic. It is for that reason I like all of ur books. Looking forward to the next one in this series. I am so glad u always bring all the family updates of what they are all about. I specially like the old men as they keep tabs on what and who goes on with their family. Keep bringing us great stories from Vermont.

Great 👍

I have read so many books by this author and this could be the best. Lots of unusual twists that shock the reader and of course you can’t put the book down!

Here Comes the Sun

I am really enjoying this series.
Even though it has been a while I remember this couple from the beginning. The fact that they get their chance at true happiness well it makes me happy.

There were a few things from the story I didn’t love but that’s ok. I don’t have to love all the details to enjoy the story.

Mia really needed someone on her side and Wade the moment he knew it was her was sunk. I loved that. This family is intriguing and I want more, more, more.

Again I am really loving Joan’s voice and I will be looking for her again.
