Overcoming trauma for love

Beautiful love story for this couple. a woman kept imprisoned just to be given away for marriage to a rival clan war chief that is scared by the lost of his wife and child. patience to the end for both. really lovely story.

Enjoyed this creative storyline. It was nice that our heroine & hero were just “almost” ordinary commoners in a world of classes & rugged Highlanders. Loved both leading characters, very enjoyable. Narration excellent also.

Great read

This was a recommendation on Audible. I am so glad I purchased it. Loved the story, loved the narration. This book made me laugh and put a lump in my throat. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Not a straight predictable story but happy ending nonetheless. Slow burn but good story. The whole series was great
