Heartbreaking, in a good way

All the stories in this series, and especially this one are about 2 people overcoming their traumas, which are significant, and growing into giving and loving people, able to support others, as they grow themselves.

Emphasizes how it is important to have support from people we encounter throughout our lives and how life changing eventually it is… even when the circumstances are not favorable the least.

I loved all the 3 stories in this series, but this one even more than others. Better to read according to sequence, but it’s not a must have to read the others in order to fully enjoy this one.

Very inspiring story.

Adventure and Romance

This story moved at a good pace and the characters were lively. I liked there thawed was a good balance of thoughts and conversation. The narrator was good, but sometimes it was hard to distinguish between the characters.

Emotional, complex

The story dealt with very difficult psychological issues with care and truth. One was kept guessing until the end about the conclusion. The end was tidy without being trite.

Not may favorite of the series

I love Liam but this MFC is so ungrateful. She is a rape survivor and you want to see her find happiness but all she does is take advantage at every turn and doesn’t seem to appreciate his feelings. The story just doesn’t come together like the others as the conflicts just don’t seem as dramatic and hopeless but more whiny father and daughter that won’t stand up for her family.

Strong Characters, lovable story line

I have enjoyed this series. Even though the stories cut short at the ending, All three books have tugged at my emotions and instead of being a book based on internal dialog “vulnerability” like so many historical romance novels these are books of action and consequence.
I HIGHLY recommend reading the books in order because the characters overlap in all three books.

Liam’s vulnerability feels genuine and it’s refreshing to have a male lead role discovering a woman’s pleasure vs. having all the answers.
Evelyn’s PTSD is carefully crafted and relatable, linked with her courage and peril to be accepted, her story is encouraging but real.

Hoping to see a story about Kinna eventually, I would love to see the series continue and grow. Great read!

Another wonderful story

I love the relationships that she builds. The author brings a blend of romance with passion and always a twist in a return.

Saved The Best For Last

I loved every book in this trilogy but this story was my favorite although half way through I had already guessed at the outcome. I’m very sad that the trilogy is over. I’m putting this in my library because I know I’ll be listening to it again in the near future!
