Narrator is bad for Male voice!

Pretty good, took a while to get through, this one I could put down. Had they two narrators boy and girl, I think it would have been better. To me the man on the front would have very deep and stern voice, she portrayed him a soft spoken alien.

Good story

For an alien bride book it actually had an enjoyable backstory. It kept me interested throughout. I was given a free copy for an honest review.

I enjoyed it

This is my first exposure to the SciFi Romance genre, and I really enjoyed it. Winged space vampires! Cool! My only complaint with the story was that Akzun’s adviser Torqua got away with far too much insubordination. I really don’t find it credible that she could get away with openly mocking and criticizing her Blood Ruler the way she did. I was impressed with the narrator. Melanie Hastings was able to create lots of unique voices to differentiate the characters, and I thought she had a really good guy voice. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series. Lots of humor and adventure throughout!

love and betrayal

Learning to trust then love an enemy is a hard won lesson , and the two main characters struggle with it throughout the story, but finally win in the end. Betrayal from within is a devastating blow and must be dealt with swiftly, but the villain flees like the rat they are. I love how fate intervenes and both brothers find love at the slave sales of all places. Alie s need love too.. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

Carly and Akzun

Carly was abducted from earth to be a blood slave. Akzun is a winged vampire leader of the Valkredians. He sees her and wants her immediately. He pays a fortune to have her before the auction even begins. It turns out that she is his mate. Akzun' is betrayed by his supreme advisor, Torka, who tried to kill Carly more than once because she wanted Akzun for herself. He sends his brother on a mission to find her. He will probably execute her. This book was really good and I enjoyed the ending. Nice set up for Zark’s story. The narrator, Melanie Hastings did a really good job but feel that the book would have been so much better with both male and female narrators. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

the story and the narrator was so good. I cant wait till the next one comes out. at first I wasnt sure but the further i got into it the better it got!

Like this twist on vampires and harpies. This was really good and I finished it one day. The narration was good. Enjoyed it and recommend getting it

Great story

This has been a great series. In my opinion it needed a more outspoken, lively narrator. There just want enough feeling or emotion by the narrator.

What an interesting take on an alien romance. A winged alien? I liked the story but felt like it was an insta love and the book was completely rushed! Other than that it was an overall good story.

Fabulous story!

This is the first book in the series and I definitely have to say WOW! This is a delightful story, that suck me in from the first chapter. This is an extremely entertaining and well written storyline. To say the least it’s out of this world! This author has a fantastic imagination that had me hanging on for the ride. This book has intrigue,deception, suspense and romance.
The narrator does a spectacular job with the characters and voices of each character making it easy to distinguish between the characters. This narrator does a fabulous job with male and female voices. She also does spectacular accents for each. I can’t wait for more books by both author and narrator.

This book is hot... Definitely not safe for listening on speaker with any little ones around. Earbuds or headphones are highly suggested. 😉
