Publisher's Summary

Camille Ellis has gone rogue agent, and there's no turning back now. The conclave might have put the Charybdis case to bed, but Cam isn't willing to let it lie. No badge doesn't mean no backup these days.

As mate to an alpha warg, she has access to new and lethal resources. A whole pack full of them. And they all want justice for the sins committed against them. But the stakes are higher than she knows, the secrets exposed darker than she feared, and the cost of winning higher than she ever imagined.

maybe not.

it started out promising with the first book dead in the water but steadily got grimmer and grimmer as the story progressed I read urban fantasy to be entertained these books just got more depressing as time went on so. I just can't in good conscience recommend these books.

Unexpected turn of events

I didn’t see that one coming. The story continued to capture my attention fully and I enjoyed this last book of the Gemini series very much. Thankfully I won’t have to say goodbye to all characters just yet and will continue with the next series in this world.

Good story, series, and characters

This series is a fun adventure with an interesting story, and the characters and their development are equally engaging. The story unfolds at a good pace through the series, but it does gain a lot of speed towards the end of the third book with quite a lot happening as it all wraps up. If you like a slow burn to a romance wrapped in a supernatural adventure, then this is an enjoyable series.

Flat

Poor narration. Mis-pronouncing words, and lacking the timing and inflection it takes to make it an entertaining story. Sounded like she was reading a research paper.

🌻Well, that was rather anticlimactic 🌻

Apparently , this trilogy is the launch of a series that is set in the small town that this book ends in. The major conflict, in the first three books, is resolved but, a new one is developed, in the end.

I guess this series was ok but, it’s more YA, in nature. In the first three books there was one brief, without detail, sex scene. I would have let my teenage girls, listen to it.

On the other hand, I will be moving on to something more adult in nature. For those listeners who are interested, it seems the rest of the series is included in the “ included “ section.

I love the Gemini series!

the story picks up from the last book and keeps you involved through the end. the ending leaves the story many openings to continue. I look forward to the next book

Very tame for a werewolf story, but not bad

I really liked the investigation part of this series and the two leads. I liked the dialogue and the plot line. The love story was not strong and floundered on boring, but good for young people reading. The narrator improved with each book but was a little pitchy to me. This would have been a 5 if the love story had developed better.

Struggled to stay engaged

I liked the book and I'm considering reading the next one. This series just isn't what I've come to expect from this author. Usually I can't put her books down, but this one was on the verge of boring without tipping into it. It's worth a read but not something I would ever read again.

And more cliffhangers

Just when it appeared the story of Cam Ellis and Greyson has gotten wrapped up, we are told there is a greater threat that includes what we thought were other supporting characters...

He'll or High Water

This book continues the story, as they start up their new pack, and try to get hold of family to help them defeat Cyprus. Read brilliantly again by Stephanie Einstein.

Gemini

I love the story but wasn’t a story I would normal read. I absolutely love the story line and loved getting to know the characters. Would read it again.
