Publisher's Summary

Hearts on Fire is the final book in USA Today best-selling author Catherine Wiltcher's dark and thrilling Santiago Trilogy.

My Devil:

He came into my life like a raging storm.

The man I despised.

The killer with no conscience.

I fell as hard as a woman like me can fall.

When he bleeds, I feel his pain. When we kiss, I taste his tragedy. When he kills, my heart is stained with all the colors of his vengeance.

My Angel:

I was the captor who became the captivated.

Her light was a blazing trail, illuminating the bullet holes that studded my darkness.

I betrayed, but she forgave.

Now, we're standing on the threshold of hell, and everyone around us is burning.

Trust no one.

Seek the truth.

Deliver justice.

We have no choice but to finish this war....together.

Fantastic conclusion!!! Edge of my seat!

OMG I am so in love with this trilogy! Dante and Eve are EVERYTHING! And I also love Joseph! So I am very much hoping that he gets his HEA. This story picks up where the last one left off, they are still after this trafficking ring. It takes them all over the place. Eve is still having a hard time with the fact that her father was involved some how and when he tries to contact her, she eventually calls and that starts a whole world of mess. Dante is still the total alpha to the point where he gets mad at Anna for making her feeling on him known because he sees it as her trying to come between him and Eve! Like that could ever happen! Some of the revelations had me totally confused.... but then made sense.... and then I got confused again... there was one specific character that had my head spinning!

Narration was fantastic, just as it was in the other 2. JF Harding did chapters for both Dante and Joseph.... and I had no problem telling the difference even if I missed name at the beginning of the chapter! Phenomenal!

Excellent Conclusion!

This is the third and last book in the Santiago Trilogy, a Dark Mafia Romance. Eve and Dante’s story continues where the second book left off. The storyline is action packed, suspenseful, and steamy, filled with secrets, angst, and twists and turns. The world building is intricate and captivating. We learn more about Dante’s past, and his ties with Joseph, his second in command. This is a breathtaking conclusion to this amazing trilogy. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding brilliantly bring this story to life. I loved to have the third POVs from Dante, Eve, and Joseph. This is an excellent trilogy, and I highly recommend it. Joseph is an enigmatic character, and I can’t wait to listen to his story in the Grayson Duet. #TheFlock

Hearts on Fire

This is the last book in The Santiago Trilogy. Dante Santiago is classified as one of the cruelest men alive. He has no mercy. The only person to ever crack this outer shell and catch a glimpse beyond was Eve. Book 2 ended with her bestfriend getting take. Dante has promised Eve that he will get her back. I loved this series. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did a fantastic job narrating.

What a SMASHING ending to the series!

What an ending to the series!! I was shocked, surprised, and angered/frustrated while listening to this one! Shocked at the twisty turns this one went through. Surprised at some of the actions and re-actions of characters. Angered and or frustrated at these characters for acting or saying something that pulled on my emotions…or made me say “Oh No!”…don’t worry I did not stay mad at them.

I really do love Eve and Dante. They have quite the relationship! I liked learning more about Dante’s past. I also really enjoy the secondary characters that traveled throughout the series. Joseph and Rick are a couple favorites. Rick because he added some levity and Joseph because of all he is to Dante.

I did listen to this on audio. The narration is simply divine! I loved the whole series was with the same two narration. Another one to add to my favorites!

dark, intense

This is the end of Dante's and Eve's story, but it's not without suspense and danger.
This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat, anticipating what was going to happen , then wham twists and turns I didn't see happen!. Full of steam, suspense, intrigue, revenge, alliances and friendships are tested.
Catherine Wiicher pulls you into the world of the dark mafia and this trilogy doesn't disappoint.
Sarah Puckett and J F Harding told this story with so much emotion. I felt all the anguish, angst, love, confusion, anger of each and every character. Amazing narration.

Thrilling conclusion!

I absolutely adored this trilogy. Dark. Thrilling. Deliciously hot. JF Harding and Sarah Puckett are incredible together. The conclusion keeps you on the edge of your seat, while finding a brand new respect and love for our dark hero Dante. Was sad to see it end, but it ended in the best way.

Good Ending!

I thought that the ending was pretty good. This booked seemed to have it all. It followed the same tone as the first two books and did not disappoint in this one. I guess I just wanted more in the epilogue! We just listened to three books and we only get a snippet into where their lives went… little bit of a let down if you ask me! Maybe we will get more in Joseph and Anna’s story! The narration was really good! I thought they did a really good job with this series and their voices fit the characters perfectly! Overall the series was really good! I would definitely give it a shot!

Excellent conclusion to an excellent series

This was the first series I've read/listened to by Catherine Wiltcher. This is a trilogy, so you must read the two books that came before. Dante and Eve’s story was heart pounding and twisty. I loved getting to know the characters more in this book and reaching a satisfying end. Such a great listen.

JF Harding and Sarah Puckett are excellent narrators. They brought this book to life. It rolled like a movie in my head. Easy to listen to voices.

Hearts on Fire is the final book In the Santiago trilogy. It starts about a week after book 2 ends. The search is on. Dante, Eve and Joseph travel the world to find who they are looking for. Bonds and loyalties are tested as they race against the clock. I loved learning about Dante and Joseph’s history. And I really, REALLY want Joseph’s story. Wow! Dark, brilliant, perfection!

Dante, dark, haunted, damaged, a man marked by a past that’s nearly destroyed him. Eve, Dante’s destiny and the one woman who can bring him to his knees. Hearts on Fire is the riveting conclusion to the trilogy that is Dante and Eve’s story! Brilliantly written, fabulously narrated and every bit as dark, haunting, and engrossing as parts one and two, Hearts on Fire is filled with action, betrayal, twists, turns, heat, and fire! I don’t want to engage in spoilers, so I won’t go into plot details except to say that every time I thought I knew “who done it” so to speak, convinced I “had the answer”, Catherine Wiltcher not only surprised me, she made it all make sense while moving the plot forward and not leaving me shaking my head! Truly the mark of a great author! Her characters continued to grow, change and developed beautifully throughout book three and I really love the people that Dante, Eve and Joseph became. As for some of the others, where would we be without those characters that you love to hate, and detest them I did! All the characters seemed so real, I felt like I knew them, like they really existed! The dialogue was smooth, believable and filled with emotion. The narration made this one the complete package. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did an excellent job breathing life into Eve, Dante and Joseph. It was clear who was speaking, and what emotions the character was feeling. It was so easy to get lost in this dark, beautiful, fabulous story, and believe me when I say I did get lost. This story was at times painful to listen to, at times tragic, but I am so glad I experienced it because when all is said and done, it is a beautiful story. A story about unconditional love, redemption and finding your forever. Catherine Wiltcher, Sarah Puckett, JF Harding, I wish I could award you every star in the universe but I will have to settle for five.

A Spectacular Trilogy!

Hearts on Fire is the third and final instalment in the Santiago Trilogy, a thrilling, action-packed romantic suspense. I'm going to start by saying Catherine Wiltcher is a genius; she bought everything together brilliantly, wrapping up the trilogy in the most gratifying way possible. As per, previous two books, Hearts on Fire is an exhilarating ride on a spiralling highway, jam-packed with unexpected twists, turns, and plenty of drama. The unpredictability of the plot kept me right at the edge of my seat. The story pretty much starts right after where Hearts of Darkness ended. Sebastian is still a threat, taking up his game a few more notches. Dante needs to keep sharp and find a way to take out Sebastian and his threats for good. But when traitors hide among friends and plot against Dante and Eve, no plan is ever guaranteed, and the ramifications are too devastating.

Dante and Eve have come a long way since their first encounter in a Miami liquor store. The core of their characters has remained steady; Dante is still a killer, criminal, brutal, protective, hot-tempered, and overbearing Alpha. Eve is the same determined, loyal, sassy and steadfast young woman - Dante's angel, the light to his darkness. Together they are so much more with the explosive and passionate connection. Their journey is epic, a scorching, exciting, intense, and dangerous love affair, one filled with lies, betrayals, death, and turmoil. Despite it all, their need and love for another are visceral, withstanding the obstacles paved in their way.

The narration is marvellous. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding performed phenomenally. They honed in on the characters and embodied the distinct personas flawlessly. JF Harding has a warm, masculine, and appealing tone to his voice, and Sarah Puckett is one of my favourite female narrators. I was thoroughly engrossed in their storytelling and can't imagine anyone else narrating the trilogy. Santiago Trilogy is a brilliantly written cartel/mafia romantic suspense with compelling characters and stellar narration, one I'm wholeheartedly recommending.

Awesome finale for the series

For a new author, Catherine captures alpha mafia men so well that it will leave you asking what else she has available.

In this final instalment of the Santiago series , it still is surreal. And written with so many details that if you are like me, asking yourself who was that?

Evie And Dante are still trying to deal with knowing what is really happening in their world and how to save women whose lives have been taken away from them. Especially Evie’s best friend. Evie and Dante will stop at nothing to protect those who can’t protect themselves. Dante is so much more than I thought at the start of this series and so is Evie. So loyal she is and it’s changing her mafia man so much. Twists and turns and amazing details of secrets and deception that keeps a listener on the edge wondering how is this going to end. I was really happy with the ending of it and hope this new to me author keeps up with side characters getting their own books. Really enjoyed this series from the very first book to this awesome ending that I wasn’t sure what was going to happen!

JF Harding was wonderful as Dante. Showing strength and perseverance in everything he does. Deadly, companding yet we hear his commitment to his friends and family. Loved the flashbacks to see how the relationship became so strong between Dante and Joseph. Sarah Puckett is also prefect as the strong willed and caring Evie and shows us both Evie’s perseverance, strength and compassion in spades. Catherine is definitely an author to watch in the future.

Amazing ending to an amazing trilogy!

Dante and Eve's push and pull is my favorite. I love the softness he has towards her even when he tries to fight it. I love the chemistry and connection between them and the love and trust.

Anna is missing and they are doing everything they can to find her. Joseph is out following leads and Dante is trying to keep Eve safe and find Anna all at the same time..

This story is action packed, the suspense was real and it's full of heat. MY favorite!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I loved it.

Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did great! They were so easy to listen to and follow along with and they really brought the emotions. It was everything.

I want more from this world!

What a fantastic end to an amazing trilogy! This world was so consuming and well written. The narrator’s performance made listening to this book such an amazing experience. I am so sad to say goodbye to this worlds, and I hope I see the characters cross over onto other series or books. I’ll miss them.

Love this trilogy!

This whole trilogy has kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It is dark and violent and full of danger with many twists and turns. Plus the sex is hot, and the characters are intense. Dante and Eve's story is one I highly recommend to anyone who loves dark romance. I love both Sarah Puckett and JF Harding. Both are amazing narrators who do an excellent job bringing a story to life.

What an ending!

There are series that I hate to see end, and this is one of them. Filled with suspense and an undying love, Catherine Wiltcher takes us into the last installment of Eve and Dante’s story. Don’t start with this one, make sure to listen to the first two in the trilogy before diving into this one. Sebastian is still on the loose and he has Eve’s best friend Anna. She is determined to get her back, but Dante has no intention of letting her help. Twists, turns, and a fierce love we get a story that is like no other. I love Eve’s drive. She is steadfast and true, willing to do whatever it takes and sitting back to wait is not what she is going to do. Dante is reckless and dangerous, but he knows what he needs to do. And while the suspense is high, so is the love. It’s a fantastic love story that has you rooting for the couple even when you are question the motives. Passion and suspense don’t get any better.

Plus, the narration! Sarah Puckett and JF Harding bring it all home. Puckett always is amazing, and she finishes out Eve with a spunkiness, keeping her brave. Harding as Dante leaves us just loving him. He is a rebel but has a heart that knows what he loves. Both bring out the best in the characters and tell a fabulous story.

A Perfect Ending to the Series!!!

This series was just everything....one of the best I have listened to in a long, long time. It had everything...great characters, a fantastic, truly captivating and engaging story line, some seriously steamy moments, a fierce leading lady and her alpha, and amazing narration to boot.

Hearts on Fire is book three in The Santiago Trilogy and it must be read/listened to after the first two as it is not a standalone. This book offers up more information about Dante and Grayson's past and their history together, and picks up with more action and drama as the book spiralled toward the ending and I wasn't quite sure my heart was going to make it.

The ending was perfection!!!! I really enjoyed Joseph's role in the series and the relationship he had with Eve and I definitely need to read his books next (I looked and it appears to be a duet). I loved that despite the darkness and for all the bad that was Dante, he loved Eve with everything he had and would do anything for her. I am so happy to have found this author and this series and cannot wait to read more in the future!

Sarah Puckett and JF Harding totally killed it with the narration of this story. Sarah Puckett is so pleasant to listen to and I felt was perfect as Eve. I think JF Harding also did a fantastic job portraying Dante as his narration made him sound so dark and dangerous and I think he did a great job with the accent. I would highly recommend them both! #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock
