Publisher's summary

Hearts Divine is the second part of USA Today best-selling author Catherine Wiltcher's dark and thrilling Santiago Trilogy.

"An intense, dark and twisted story that will send you on a wild and crazy ride of emotions." (Beyond the Covers Blog)

Eve: The FBI is forcing me apart from the man who haunts my dreams. Dante Santiago. My deepest, darkest secret. The man I will never ever betray.

Dante: Together we wiped my past from the face of this earth, but another rose up in his place. An enemy more deadly, more determined. One who will stop at nothing to destroy me.

I run the risk of exposing my angel if I return. I will lose myself to this darkness if I refuse....

Full of Drama, Manipulation and Darkness...SO GOOD

Hearts Divine is book two in The Santiago Trilogy. It picks up where books one leaves off with Eve and Dante being separated and the FBI watching Eve constantly and questioning her regularly trying to get information regarding Dante. Book two is chock full of action, drama, manipulation and darkness. Eve sees the good in Dante and settles him on some level, but Dante contains to remain entrenched in the life he has always known, though some of his focus shifts in this book to more noble causes. Though Eve continues to remain loyal to him, his past catches up with him causing conflict and his need to push her away from him. This ultimately just leads to them both being apart, but utterly miserably.

I love dark and twisted reads....totally my thing! The audiobook version of this story was absolutely fantastic. JF Harding and Sarah Puckett did an amazing job bringing this story to life. Their voices truly brought out all the feels and emotions throughout the course of this story. Both have wonderful voices that are so pleasant to listen to, and I felt they made a perfect Dante and Eve! Despite the dark feel of the story and Dante's twisted past, I couldn't help but truly like him and really root for him and Eve. They have some serious chemistry... I mean scorching, off the charts, burning the place down chemistry. I liked that although Dante was extremely alpha and domineering and possessive, I equally liked that Eve was strong and fierce. I think together they are perfection and I cannot wait to dive into the third part of the trilogy, but I know I will be so sad when it is over. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock

Riveting continuation

This is the second book I've read/listened to by Catherine Witcher. This is NOT a standalone, but the second book of a trilogy. It was even better than book one. I loved getting to know Dante and Eve better. There is some redemption to his darkness. The HFN ending was perfect. I cannot wait for the last book!

Sarah Puckett and TF Harding are excellent narrators! They perform with so much emotion. It's perfection.

Dark and delicious!

The second chapter in The Santiago Trilogy picks up where the story left us and takes the gloves off. Dante and Eve’s chemistry is still off the charts smexy hot and they still fight with all the passion that lies between them. Dante fights a losing battle with himself trying to protect Eve from his mission and also his own darkness. This story will leave you grabbing the conclusion that you know will have you sitting at the edge of your seat!

Eve and Dante’s journey back to each other is one just kidnapping away. Hiding in the shadows but always watching, Dante never leaves Eve who fights to get back a piece of her life. One night everything changes and they seek sanctuary in Dante’s new base of operations. Eve quickly becomes frustrated with the situation and all the secrets between them, which ultimately leads nowhere good.

This story will have you turning pages and dying to know the secrets Dante holds close, and I know we are in for a wild ride with the conclusion of this trilogy. Dark, dangerous, and delectably hot, this story will have you racing to the end and leave you needing more.

Dark Mafia Romance

Hearts Divine by Catherine Wiltcher is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and JF Harding. This is the second book in The Santiago Trilogy.

This is the third book of Catherine's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Eve and Dante was off the charts. Their relationship is messy but you can't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting Dante, Eve, and Joseph's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ends on a cliffhanger but that wasn't a surprise since it is part of a trilogy. I can't wait for the next book in the series Hearts On Fire to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.

Sarah and JF did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, or romantic suspense.

The cliffy!!!!

Holy moly the cliffy. I love this series but I hated the fact that there was sex almost every minute even when they are at dangerous territory 😂 all in all it’s a very great read! JF Harding and Sarah Puckett did an amazing job at narrating.

Loved Loved Loved!

I honestly loved this book. It took a little bit for me to get into it but once I did I could not stop listening! The author does such a good job bringing the characters and story to life. I think the narrators did a really good job and helped bring the story to another level. I can’t wait for the next book!

WOW!!!! CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT

Title: Hearts Divine
Author: Catherine Wiltcher

Genre: Romantic Suspense, Dark, Mafia
Standalone: Nope
Part of a Series: Book 2 of The Santiago Trilogy
POV: Dante, Eve and some Joseph
Steam Level: Toasty
5/5

I needed a few days to decompress and digest after finishing Hearts Divine. This story picks up six months after book one ends. Dante is on a dangerous mission but can't help himself when he see's Eve again, bringing her back into his orbit. There are several new players involved in a dangerous game that is dark and twisted. I cannot wait to see how this trilogy ends.

I received this audiobook for free from Pink Flamingo Productions and Audiobook Obsessions. This is my honest and voluntary review.
