I like the story but the narration...

I always read the stories before the audio so my rating,is really for the audio. Overall, I liked Wascher's narration. She did a pretty good job with most of the characters and the reading but Cade's voice was...well...too manly that it sounded like a man the entire time. I just didn't fit what the character should have sounded. I mean Dante was the alpha wolf and sounded completely female. I don't know, that threw the entire narration off. So Son some of the dialogue delivery between Cade and Lena seemed off and a bit cheesy.
If you liked the story then you will find the narration acceptable. Not the best but way better than some of the others.

Amazing story!

I could listen to this book a billion times and never get bored. The connection, want. and desire is well portrayed throughout the novel.

Horrible narrator

I honestly didn't know what to rate the story because I couldn't get more than 30 minutes through it because the narrator was so annoying. Maybe I'll buy the kindle version.

Good Story

I enjoyed the story, but the narration didn't really fit. The voices honestly did not fit the characters.

Enjoyable.

Formulaic as far as romances go, but with steady momentum and a constant, enjoyable theme centered surprisingly on the importance of family.

Also... The fluidity of gender in the context of the werewolves is something I found particularly enjoyable.

Jenny Frame is excellent!!

I love this author and this book, but the narrator is all wrong. The narrator would be better suited for children's books, or something, her voice and inflections were too high pitched and upbeat all the time and inappropriate for a book with a certain aggressiveness or darkness that comes with werewolves. Anyway, the book/author are too good to keep me from listening to it, I just dealt with it. Jenny Frame knows how to convey the emotions of the characters, make you feel right along with them and love them. can't wait, hopefully, for a sequel or an offshoot.
