I listened to the audible,finished in 3 days, just by listening straight through, I received so much hope to really believe I was loved and that I could live a life free of shame,thank you so much,,I plan on listening over and re-listening to chapters that spoke to my heart that related to my emotions and hurts,once again thank you all for so much.

The book's description leaves out that the work is very Christian centric, and all of its proposed solutions are centered on explicitly having faith in the Christian God. It can provide insight into the roots of shame but you will be disappointed if you dont share the faith of the author.
