Love heals all wounds...

Another great story by Melissa Foster….

Jewel Fisher could never be his… Nate Braden has loved her and wanted her for years but she was younger and also the sister of his best friend, Rick. Those two things alone were enough to keep him from pursuing her but now that Rick is gone, he is even more determined to not move ahead with his feelings.

Nate came home from the war, but Rick did not and survivor’s guilt wracks Nate’s soul. He was the officer who sent Rick on his last mission and he cannot forget that.

Jewel’s life centers on her family… taking care of all the details of her younger siblings lives in order to help out her mother. She does not have time for romance or a boyfriend… but if she did, Nate would be the one for her. A schoolgirl crush has grown into so much more now that she is an adult and Nate is back in town.

But they share the sorrow of losing Rick and that is a barrier between them. Bit by bit their walls begin to crumble and their souls are healed. Can they find love at last? “Healed by Love” is just what is says… their souls were made whole again by love.

BJ Harrison is a talented narrator... his voice is easy to listen to and he does a great job of drawing the listener into the story.

Good read

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook of Healed by Love by Melissa Foster. B.J. Harrison was the narrator and he never fails. I love his narration and how he gets into the characters. This is the story of Nate Braden and Jewel Fisher. Nate has had feelings for his best friend's Rick little sister for years now and doesnt know how to tell Rick. They are both in Afghanistan and Nate had planned to tell Rick his feelings for Jewel when he got killed. Nate has so much guilt because he was the one who gave the order for Rick to go on a supply run when he was killed by a sniper. He carries that guilt with him. Nate and Jewel shared an incredible kiss on New Years Eve and they both havent forgotten it. Can Nate put aside his guilt and tell Jewel how he feels. Only time will tell. But it is incredible when they do finally get together.

Great start to a new Braden family.

Oh my gosh did I love this book. Nate and Jewel are so cute together. I love how all the turmoil of this romance isn't just about them. Jewel and Nate have some serious things to work through to be together and in the long run makes them a stronger couple.

Living Life

Melissa has given us a great lesson on life. B.J. Harrison is a wonderful narrator.
Nate Braden had returned from the military after six years. He was helping his parents out in their brewery in Peaceful Harbor, Md. Jewel Fisher had held onto her V card all the way through college. She had lost her father and now her brother Rick in Afghanistan. Rick had been Nate’s best friend. He had feelings for Jewel for years and she had feelings for Nate, but neither one had expressed this to each other. Nate still felt guilty because he had been the officer to send Rick on the mission when he had been killed by the sniper. Will the ghost of Rick always be between than? You must find out!

Another great Braden sto

This audiobook is Nate and Jewel’s story. It is a story about love and loss. Nate has always loved Jewel, but he is older and best friends with her older brother. When her brother is killed in the war Nate feels too guilty to act upon his feelings. But their feelings are so strong that eventually they can’t be kept apart. Will the fact that Nate sent her brother out for the mission that got him killed keep them apart? This is an audiobook worth listening to. The narrator keeps you interested throughout the book.

It is wonderful to be healed by love.

This is a most beautiful story. It is a very emotional book. Nate had lost his best friend, and Jewel had lost her brother, but their love for each other can help them both to heal. I have to say that that there were lots of tears while I was listening to this book, but I felt like it helped me to heal too. With the powerful combination of Melissa Foster and her outstanding writing and B.J. Harrison and his outstanding narration, it definitely earns its five stars.

Nate+Jewel=HOT!!!

What can I say but I love Nate and Jewel. They have loved each other for a while but being the older bother's best friend and the best friends little sister has caused them to hide feelings. A death brings them together and they decide that their love for each other can heal them. The narrator does a great job of letting you feel all the emotion that is in the books. You feel like you are right there with the characters and you can relate to them.

Love Heals Everything.

Heartwrenching and healing. This book pulls at your heartstrings then plays them until something beautiful comes from something bad. Melissa Foster hit the mark with this book.
Nate and Jewel both have to deal with loss and love. Letting go of the past, and the guilt to build a future.

I received an audio ARC in exchange for an honest review.
