GREAT READ!

I really enjoyed it! The narration was great and kept me entertained! The author did a great job with the character builds and plot. I look forward to reading the next book in this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

good book!

This was another great story by Ms. Foster. The characters Addy and Jake have to work toward their HEA as they battle trust issues, control issues, insecurities, their lust for each other as well as their pasts. The plot of this story was fast moving but not too fast making this book hard to put down. I enjoyed the return of some of the characters of the previous books as the start of this book was at Duke and Gabriella's wedding with Boone and Trish's wedding to follow. I also enjoyed how family centered it was as with all of Ms. Foster's other books. As usual, I loved that despite the epic hot sex the characters were having the moment when they realize that despite not trying, they fell in love with the other. Addy fought this the hardest but I enjoyed watching her eye opening moment. I like how the characters reflected inside themselves to get to their HEA. Overall, this was a great story with a lot of self discovery for Jake and Addy as Jake learned that he could not charge in all of the time and Addy learned to trust. The narration from Mr. Harrison was performed well. He was an enthusiastic reader making the book just come to life for me. I enjoyed his narration as I have with all of the narration that he has done with Ms. Foster's other books. I, like the other books in this series would recommend it to others!

I previously read this book. I just listened to the audiobook. Wow it is just as good. The narration of BJ Harrison is amazing. I truly enjoy listening to him.
Melissa is an amazing author and she never disappoints. Jake and Addy set my device on fire. Addy is a strong woman and Jake is a very confident man. Together they have such banter and OMG the heat is sizzling.

This book is fantastic, funny and emotional

Melissa Foster has done it again! This book is fantastic, funny and emotional. Both Jake and Addy are strong and stubborn. He just wants her and she just wants to show her independence and that she is strong enough to do things on her own and for herself. When they do come together Addy realizes that maybe it is not so bad to have someone like Jake there to be your partner in crime so to speak and to work as a team. The love scenes are so hot that they melt the pages and leave you yearning for more. BJ Harrison narrates and as usual does a fantastic job. He always makes you feel like you are right in the thick of things. You get so drawn into the book that you don’t realize how much time has passed.

Intense romance

What another great story by Melissa Foster. I loved Jake and Addy together, their relationship as well as their chemistry was so intense. I enjoyed reading Rescued by Love, but I also enjoyed the audio version as well. B.J. Harrison has a voice that just brings the characters and the story to life.

Great Story! Great Narration!

I so enjoyed Rescued by Love by Melissa Foster. Jake and Addy are the featured couple in this book with cameo appearances by other characters that I have grown to love. The chemistry is awesome. BJ Harrison does a fantastic performance with this book. One can feel the emotions he conveys. I enjoy it when an author is able to bring together two independent and stubborn people. I could hear the sparks flying! This book is part of a series and a standalone listen.

I’m addicted to this series!

Rescued by Love is book 4 in the Ryders Series. All of these books can be read as standalones. I’ve read some of them out of order, and they do give some hints of previous books but not enough to spoil it for me.

Addy was raised with every advantage and had everything done for her. She now seems to want to do everything in her power to assert and prove her independence. This means never relying on a man for anything including her happiness.

“She needed to be loved and cherished and shown that how he felt had nothing to do with controlling her decisions and everything to do with keeping her safe.”

Jake Ryder is completely blindsided by his feelings for Addy. He has never had time for or been interested in anything more than a superficial relationship with a woman. Jake ends up coming on a bit too strong, causing Addy to label him a “Neanderthal”!

“We’re passionate people, and passion has two sides. The side that burns so deep you can’t escape it, and the side that claws away the skin and leaves you raw.”

I love listening to this series on audiobook. The narrator is a really good storyteller and his narration definitely adds to my enjoyment.

Sigh... Jake Ryder

What an amazing narrator… BJ Harrison is wonderful. He has a great cadence in his voice, a perfect tone, and wonderful feelings with his words. He tells that story of Addison and Jake perfectly. He takes Melissa Foster’s words and makes them come to life. While listening to the story I feel the characters come to life, their stories become realistic, and leave me wanting for so much more.

Addison and Jake are one night stand pros, no feelings involved, no worries about the next day. That is until they hook up together. After circling each other with innuendos for months it finally happens and it is more than they ever expect. The “rules” are broken and everything changes for them.

I am not big on one night stands but it seems to work for them. I enjoyed the circling of these two and it was impossible not to feel the sparks between the two of them well before they hooked up. The heat and attraction was amazing, maybe one of the hottest that Melissa Foster has ever written.

Once again, the family and friendships are amazing. They are still my favorite parts of the Love in Bloom series. They are real and true. They support, love, and accept each other without question.

Hot, Really Hot!

Jake Ryder was at his brother's wedding and he saw Addison Dahl there. He had wanted Addie for a long time. Addie was a paralegal and Jake volunteered in a search and rescue team. Addie was a very stubborn independent person and not only that, she had a sexy attitude. Jake loved that. They connected the whole weekend that they were there, even though she demanded it be a one night stand. He dreamed of having her every night of the week. The one night stand demand went out the window. After Boone and Trish Ryder had their wedding, Addie went on a hiking trip alone in the Silver Mountains. Then things got real for Addie as the dangers were evident. I love the sex and humor in this one. The narrator did a super job transforming my mind right into the characters.

Great Read

Rescued by Love by Melissa Foster was a great read. This is the fourth book in The Ryder’s series. Addison has returned to Elpitha Island for Gabriella’s wedding. Jake and Addison decide to give into their urges and spend the weekend together. I absolutely loved reading Addison and Jakes story. I can’t wait to read more Ryder’s stories.
