I don't know what it is about this stranger that sparks a fire deep inside me. He makes me question everything about my life. I met him one time when he was in the bar with a buddy of his.

Weeks have gone by, and I haven't seen him, but I know where he is. He's a Reaper, and these bastards are easy to find.

I'm tired of dealing with the same shit on a different day. I know that I deserve more, and now, I'm going to search for it. I just don't know if I can handle everything coming my way.

She wasn't going to be like her family.

Hawk hasn't seen Raven for too long. Why she calls to him he doesn't know only that she does. Despite the trouble at the club he needs to see her and find out what there is about her.

Raven is glad to be under the protection of the MC. For some reason, even though she's only seen him once she wishes Hawk was here.

After a close call, she needs him. But he's hours away? What does she do? She has family issues. When will it end?

Hawk can't wait any longer. When he sees her will he get his answers? How about Raven?

Add a new problem to the mix and the situation just gets deeper.

This is a short read with heat, problems and a visit from two MC's who are joined and recovering from attacks and an attempt to destroy one. Learning of Raven's history helps understand the attraction and makes her a character to care about.

Distracting

The story is good, though I would rather have longer books or a box set. Having one narrator for both male and female sucks when earlier books had duel narration. Also, this narrator seems to have weird slapping of the mouth and swallowing sounds that don’t go with the story. It may be an over sensitive mic. Just a lot of weird noise.

Good story line

I enjoyed the story line but the narration was definitely lacking. I had a hard time following when it was the hero’s part or the heroine’s part. Next to no inflection of voice and very monotone

terrible narrator

love the reapers books. this one though had the worst narrator I have ever heard . he sounded like a robot with cotton mouth. no emotion at all . and the background noises were getting to me . honestly I should have listened to the sample before buying .. had I heard it 1st I would not have made the purchase

Hawk & Raven~

Not uour typical MC story. More sweet but yes there was a scene where violence was necessary, LOL! Loved the characters and their story. lots of heart involved.
