such a great listen. I could listen to ghost stories all day. I absolutely loved it

The best audiobook I’ve ever heard!

At first I thought, this is probably going to be like all of those other true ghost stories but this was totally different. The author goes above and beyond with her research, she doesn’t just do a quick google and that’s it. I was astounded at the great stories. I actually couldn’t stop listening! I’m definitely going to search for hers and her mothers other works.

Great listen for Halloween Season!

The author is very clear that she does not see ghosts as scary. This book, therefore, is not full of typical “creepy” ghost stories. Instead, it tells many ghost stories that are believed to be true. It includes the author’s research about people who have died that she believes could be the ghosts in the stories described. A fun and interesting listen.

A documentary and well researched.

The entire book was interesting. I grew up in Washington State and enjoyed hearing the ghost stories of the Northwest, especially.

I have all of her books and enjoyed the combination of the best of all of them.

Phenomenal.

This is a must read even if you have no interest in ghosts or the paranormal. the stories are an amazing portrait into human nature, especially some of the darker aspects that many people don't like to look at or acknowledge.

A nice collection of short ghost stories that is interesting to listen to and the narrator is good

Lots of variety

Easy to listen to while getting chores done or traveling. I will look for her other books.

The Author capitalized on her "friends" deaths?!

It was interesting until the author addressed the murder suicide of fellow investigators the Constantines. She wrote as if she relished the gruesome details. How "Debbie must have felt when the gun was put to her head..." etc... I honestly couldn't listen anymore. I felt sick in my stomache. What kind of friend would do that? It might have gotten better after that. But I couldnt bring myself to listen anymore.
