I almost stopped about half way through bc I thought it was getting too repetitive …. Don’t stop There’s a lot more to come!

this was very interesting from beginning to end, I also really enjoyed the narration

Great book, poor narration

I really enjoyed this story as I have all Anne Rule's work. However, the narration was extremely cringey. Her depiction of southerners was offensive. She spoke with an accent that sounded like a parody of southerners. No one talks that way! Her depiction sounded like someone from Cival war times or something, or perhaps the movie Gone With The Wind. it was ridiculous and took away from my enjoyment of the audio book.

I have followed Ann for years. I've read and listened to her books and stories. I will continue to follow her till I die.😉

It kept me guessing

A tragic story of an evil woman. It kept me wondering if she would ever pay the price for her crimes.

Repetitive but really good

Interesting true story that I hadn’t heard of before. Narration is great and it’s super interesting.

Why do I read these?!?

My skin crawls at the re-enactments and conversations. Ann Rule does such a marvelous job at recreating the world/stories/characters. I listened straight through for 2 days just so I could never hear the crazed web of Pat Taylor ever again. Thanks, Ann. You are so good at what you do!

Excellent!

Another winner by Ann, and with a fantastic narrator. The ending was as haunting as many of her other works.

Ann at Her Best

Oh my goodness, Pat Taylor Allanson is such a piece of work. From early on, she showed tendencies of that- she manipulated everyone, all about her, very entitled individual. Ann Rule did a great job painting the picture. I just can’t believe that she was under custody and in the end was let go to continue her games of torture and killing.
