Even more silly and fun than the last one

The way Absolam Scrime, or however it is, this is audiobook, describes everything with such colorful disdain is so hilarious. And even the things he DOESN'T dislike are described so wonderfully

Holds up. Good book throughout whole series. Recommend. Give it a go. Good narrator. Would listen to more.

Fun

Our favorite hat MC has lost his Kobold ride, but has found a dwarven one. Once again the hat entices his wearer to learn magic and travel with him. They traverse dark caverns, unearth forgotten dwarven secrets, and incidentally release a dark god from imprisonment. They escape to the surface.

There they join a traveling circus and the dwarf is seduced by the ringmaster. The ringmaster just happens to be a werewolf from the village the hat passed through. And in the circus is the hat’s kobold. Reunited the gang free the village and circus from the werewolf curse. They then finally arrive at their destination and start a fight so they get taken to the ruler: the usurper of the hat. Surprise ending.

A great continuation and wonderfully humorous story. It combines adventure with wit. The narrator makes the story a delight to listen to! Please enjoy!

Entertaining like the last book

I preferred this book to the previous one. I am looking forward to the third book!

Penman and Chmilenko do it again

Classic wit and humor that is so unique to this genre. Worth the read just for the laughs.
