Almost perfect

Unfortunately, I found the female narrator’s voice wrong in this book and difficult to get used to. While other narrators are fantastic, this one didn’t quite work for me.

Great voices, annoying background noises

The narrator does a great job, her voice is nice and soothing. And the voices for the characters are great. After the painfully bad child acting of the movies, it's great to hear the children's voices done well with some real emotion.

They really overdid the background noises though. There's constant heavy breathing, gasping, groaning, etc. It's fine to have it occasionally in the right scenes, but it's done so much it becomes annoying. It also makes Harry a bit of a pansy. Book Harry is pretty tough, but when the book only mentions Harry's scar hurting, the audiobook adds a scream of pain. It's frustrating. Harry is a lot more stoic than that.

Lastly, it's wonderful to hear everyone pronounce Voldemort's name correctly.

Amazing Dursley voices!

I love Petunia voice actress, she made a perfect character performance, I can really believe in all these feelings and emotions. Hagrid voice on the other hand was too… academic, if you know what I mean. He sounds too educated, like an Oxford professor, doesn’t really fit the character.

I loved this!

I absolutely loved this full cast audiobook. Hugh Laurie and Ris Ahmed are epic, the kids and the narrator are fantastic. My only issue is the background sounds sometimes dim out the narrations. Otherwise I can’t wait for the next one

I can’t get used to the female voice yet, but maybe I’ll grow into it soon.

Too much background noises, very annoying. But characters are great. I’ll continue to listen, very excited to hear all other voices

Excellent production

I love the Harry Potter books but I was amazed at how much more I enjoyed the full cast version. It really added to the experience!

First time listening.

if you hear them for the first time fantastic book. but nostalgic got me, strange with female narrator. as I have always thought you heard most of harrys thinking as an older. love all the voices, but missed the classic harry potter music.
