Creepy and Perfect

This was my favorite of all the harry potters when I was 11. This reading made me feel certain of this again. Jim Dale did a mystical job and made me love how creepy this story was. Showed you the characters true colors in his changing of his voices for every character. Very funny moments throughout. BUY THIS AND EVERY HARRY POTTER BOOK.

narrator

just don't like the narrator all that much, I think his voices aren't that great and his pronunciation of pretty much anything not in normal everyday diologue sucks. it irks me to hear his say "VoldemorE" or "Harieeeeeeee" it's a good thing I really love the story and nostalgia from reading them as a kid. That's pretty much the only thing keeping me on these audio books.

Jim Dale does a fantastic job. I absolutely love the books and was not sure how I would feel about the audible. Very enjoyable and perfect for my road trip.

Classic

Rarely do you come across a book let alone a series you can listen to time and time again year after year, as I do this very one. I have fallen in love with all the characters and in my imagination the narration and performance truly brings the story to life, for me the definitive version.

I never had much interest in Harry Potter, but in the process of doing research for a Harry Potter themed birthday party for my wife, I have discovered that these books are wonderful. Jim Dale is an inspired narrator.
