Amazing job, breezed through this audiobook 😍

1/23/24 Audiobook review
I really enjoyed the audio for book! I enjoyed having the 2 different male narrators, it really helped with Santos being authentic. I loved the female narrator, she is one of my favs and she does an amazing job with Rori and all the other voices. I loved Estarte's snark and she did a really good job capturing the evilness of the ladies in the cult. I thought the male narrator made Torr and the others so yummy. I didnt realize I was listening so quickly and finished this in like 2 days. All the emotion was done well, the submissive exploring for Santos was done so well by the narrator. I couldn’t get enough of these 3! Would definitely recommend, they had me on the edge of my seat and my heart in my throat and butterflies in my belly with all the different emotional scenes. Can’t wait for book 3 on audio later this year ❤️

Wow this reminded me so much of what I loved about the SDMC and SOO (book 1 for some reason wasn’t quite there, not sure why). I loved pretty much everything about book 2, I am surprised this is going to be a trilogy because I feel like there is so much the author will need to pack in book 3 (I would think its a 4 book series at least haha). I connected more with Rori even more in this one (that was one of my critiques with book 1) and wanted to see her succeed and was on the edge of my seat when things were dire for her. I loved how she stepped up when needed (even if she needed some encouragement from her cousin haha). I appreciated her fierceness, strength, but also her vulnerability and her softness with her guys <3

Torr stepped up for me in this one, I loved his funny moments, his more Dom moments, and boy is he sexy haha. I love his role in the MC and his loyalty for Rori, even if he can’t say his love quite yet. It will be a beautiful moment when he does. Santos was fabulous, I had a hint of his tendencies in book 1 and I LOVED SEEING IT! I don’t think we get enough of the role reversal enough in whychoose romances and this was amazing. I loved his brattiness/snark despite how he was controlled by her. And the steamy scenes in this book......daaaaaaaang. So good!

I loved the other characters in this story and hope we can get some novellas for spinoffs for them too. Her cousins, some of the gladiators, the adorable new couple haha, etc. I think seeing an MC form is an awesome twist. We already saw established ones in the previous books so to see if form, see who would do the roles was an added bonus. I really started to like Devin despite all the things he has gone through and done. I am unsure if he will join the harem, I think he will because he likes the back and forth with Rori and I think she is wearing him down haha. I don’t think Hudson will be part of Rori's harem but maybe a partner for Devin, we’ll see. The baddies in this one are done so well, like I got chills with the speeches, sacrifice, and how the being can easily take over people. I have a feeling Rori is going to be possessed in book 3 but again we have so many loose ends I have no idea how this author is going to accomplish it in just one more book haha.

Also I love Tesca and which I could have one of my own haha. Waking her up with that scratchy tongue made me giggle so hard! Cannot wait for the next installment, ate this story up while recovering from COVID and a heatwave with broken air conditioning haha. This story kept me engaged and helped me escape melting in my own house and all the icky feels of being sick. 5/5 stars!
