best friends forever

the narrator rocked !!! just wanted to say that first. This story is so sweet , best friends through school then when she is getting married he has to leave because he loves her. When he comes back she is free and he finds a way back into her life. Her ex husband is the problem

A well written second chance romance. That is narrated amazingly. Love the Montgomery family books.

great story & great narration

Loved it! Another great story from Carrie Ann Ryan! Love the Montgomery Ink series. This can be read anytime but would suggest read the other books first that way you can understand the back story more and the stories of other characters!

If you're looking for a emotional story about second chances and true family, this is the book for you!

Unrequited love gets a second chance.

Luc has loved Meghan since they were young. Meghan, unaware of Luc feelings marries a truly awful man that treats her and later her children, deplorably. Luc comes back to town after having so been gone for years and reconnects with a now single Meghan and her extended family. This is a story of second chances and of love not realized. There are many elements to this story and some side stories but at its base it is about two people who were meant to be together. Loved this book and will continue with this series. Gregory Salinas did a good job and Carrie Ann is a go to author for me so it was a win win for me.

Humor and passion! Another great book in the Montgomery Ink series. Can't wait to read the next book.

A great love story!

This series grows on me with each book I read- or hear! Carrie Ann Ryan's Harder Than Words, book 3 in her Montgomery Ink series, once again shows off Ms. Ryan's excellent storyteller skills. Her main characters in this book, Megan Montgomery Warren and Lincoln Dodd , spring to life with the magic of Carrie Ann 's words. Megan and the whole Montgomery family or so relatable, I felt I was there at Sunday dinner with the whole gang! I found myself wishing I could return to Denver and find the Montgomery's homes! And without images I could SEE the ink tattooed on the characters!
As good as the story is, the performance was as good. At first I had trouble with a male reader...my bias, I am sorry! But Gregory Salinas deep sensuous voice, smooth and warm as honey at times, growly breathless at others, sucks you into the story as he continues to read. And given how steamy the sex is in this book, Gregory's voice is perfect, sexy, and yummy! I may have to change my opinion about male readers! Mr. Salinas knows how to use the speed and tempo of his voice to convey suspense. There is a lot of action and intrigue in this addition of Montgomery Ink.
Harder Than Words is a delightful listening offering from Audible! One I highly reccomend to fellow romance junkies like myself. It should be noted this offering is for mature audiences only. Carrie Ann Ryan sure knows how to write a good love scene!

Liked the story but not the narrator

I want to READ the rest of this series. I don't like the narrator's voice and the "soap opera" way in which he speaks. Would love to listen to the rest of the series if it had a different narrator, I will check the rest to see who the narrator is.

Meaghan's story

A well told and well narrated story. Loved Meagan and Luc. Definitely worth the credit as Gregory Salinas does a great job on this one.
