Fun Characters but Not a Great Mystery

First, the narration is EXCELLENT. Oliva Mace is absolutely fantastic and does a great job of keeping the pace going, as well as a narrator with a slow story can, and developing characters. The problem is, the actual mystery is really boring. I didn't realize it until I was about three-quarters of the way through, that part of the problem is that the whole story essentially takes place around the kitchen table, talking. There is very little movement in the story, and it just drags it down. The characters are fun, especially the BFF, Jennifer. It isn't terrible, but I found myself looking forward to the end so I could start a new book, never a good sign.

Hilarious story!

I will definitely read another book from this author. It was extremely funny and the narration was top notch. Definitely should listen to this one!
