Original and Sweet

I love the tough on the outside, sweethearts on the inside heroes! Her werewolf world is similar to others in the genre yet with a bit of something new and unique. I loved the first four books and just can’t wait for the rest to come available in audio!

Such a good story

Jeffrey Kafer- kills it. As always. He probably is a motorcycle riding, leather wearing, werewolf. Secrets out, Kafer.

The story is a lot of fun. We get to see a different side of the wolves and the red wolves aren’t ALL BAD. Okay. One of them isn’t. Probably more out there that aren’t, right?

I really enjoyed falling for the characters and rooting for the problems to be solved, for the girl and guy to get together. All that we want from a romance story. She was smart. He wasn’t a juice box. It was a good, not drama filled story. Of course, we touch base with old faces and get some new.

Serious. At the end, I was really ready to beat on a jerk.

Came across the Arkansas pack and loved them. Can’t wait for more and one on that pack master falling for a sassy and alpha like female. And you have to do something about granny. There’s got to be an old wolf who lost his mate that can deal with grannies spunk

A story that will have you hooked

Book 4 in the series but can be listened to as a stand-alone. Jodi writes gripping PNR stories. Lots of heat , mystery and it will have you hooked till the very end . The characters and story are well developed.
Hero is Zane. Heroine is Skylar

Zane is a very trusted by his pack . He’s also one of the guardian. Something tragic happens to Zane on route with 2 other guardians. Zane and the 2 guardians are on there way to get inked but something unusual happens to Zane . He gets struck by a needle but like all of his kind he things nothing will happen to him. Man is he in for a surprise. Next thing he goes kind of off his usual self . He can’t control his shifts
Skylar is shocked when she goes to her tool shed and gets a surprise seeing Zane without a stitch on . She helps Zane out , clothes and a place to stay . Zane wonders who the $exy redhead is . Once he recognizes Skylar they both know what they felt as young friends is full blown now . Grab it and see if Zane will be able to control his wolf. Will Zane confine Skylar she’s only for him .

Jeffrey performance was spot on. His tone for the story was great His voice is strong , smooth and very clear

Hot growly voice

The narrator of this book is great with the sexy, growly male voices. I myself would have preferred a female voice for the female parts but I still liked listening to this audiobook.
Zane and Skylar do a lot of growing in this story as he tries to figure out why he is having problems with his shift. There is also a mystery to solve as to who is making and selling illegal drugs and why.
I was given a free copy of this book and freely give my honest opinion in this review.
