Publisher's summary

Aside from being a cop, Kennedy is used to living a quiet life. But when a new neighbor moves in next door, his peaceful days are at an end.

Gunnar pushes all Kennedy’s buttons. He’s rude, cocky, and overconfident. He’s also sexy, and Kennedy can’t deny the attraction that simmers between them.

He helps Gunnar find a job at the local firehouse, where Gunnar seems to fit in well. As they grow closer, tragedy strikes. Will Kennedy be able to save the man who’s become his whole life?

Gunnar’s Guardian is the first book in the Protect and Serve Series and features a hot cop and his annoying neighbor, hot firefighters, and an arsonist on the loose.

Gunnar and Kennedy

This book was really good. Kennedys story was really sad and it explains why he is so hesitant to have a relationship with Gunnar. Gunnar was such a brat in the beginning but he learned so much and became a better person.

I'm not so sure about their chemistry.

The narrator was good. The story played out well.

Sweet

Gunnar and Kennedy are so different yet so similar. The chemistry and slow burn in this story is beautiful. I enjoy listening to John Solo and it made the story even better

OMG! What an awesome story!!!♥️

OMG! What an awesome story! I’m so in love with Kennedy and Gunnar! It’s definitely a very strong emotional storyline that really pulled on my heart strings! It’s also so well written and with such heart and creative realism and passion, it really pulled this awesome story together brilliantly! I absolutely loved everything about it! This was my first by author Pandora Pine and Im definitely looking forward to more to come, hopefully about this McCoy clan! Narrator John Solo’s incredible performance of all these different characters voices is magnificently achieved and made this audiobook one I couldn’t put down until the very end! I definitely recommend Gunners Guardian Protect and Serve Book 1 and just know you’ll really love it to!

Adventurous

This was so exciting full of so much action and adventure. Kenny and Gunnar are like fire and oil they light each other up in more ways then one. When tragedy strikes it is all about saving the one he loves. So good with a great storyline and wonderful characters. The narrator did a great job.

Scorching hot

I love this story and how Gunnar and Kennedy come to fit each other. Gunnar has to grow up and stand on his own, while Kennedy has to learn how to open his heart and be vulnerable. John Solo did a great job narrating the story and shaped the voices in such a way that it’s easy to follow the dialogue.

Loved Kennedy and Gunnar!!

Kennedy is a detective and Gunnar is a rich boy. Gunnar is kicked out of his home for being gay, he’s been couch surfing when his friend helps him find an apartment. He ends up as Kennedy’s neighbor. Kennedy helps him by recruiting his family to help Gunnar. Both seem lost but together they are stronger! This story was sooo good! John Solo was excellent as the narrator!

This is the first book in the Protect and Serve series .

A sweet opposites attract, hurt/comfort listen. This book was really well written and had character depth.
Kennedy's story was touching and heartfelt which explains why he was hesitant in establishing his relationship with Gunnar.

John Solo did an exceptional audio delivery and this was really an enjoyable listen overall.

what a great listen!

This was a fantastic start to a new series. I thought the narrator did such an amazing job with the charters in this book. It felt like he put his own spin and a little attitude into each one and it made them so wonderful. This book was an action-packed full book. It kept me so engrossed and excited I almost missed my stop on the train.

Gunnar's Gaurdian

Gunnar's Gaurdian is book 1 in the Protect and Serve series. This is an emotional journey. Kennedy is a cop and Gunnar moved in next door after being kicked out of his family's home. Gunnar had nothing and Kennedy's family being who they are took Gunnar under their wing and helped him. Ozzy, Kennedy's brother even gave Gunnar a job at the fire house. This book is intense and haunting at times as there is an arsonist on the loose. I enjoyed Kennedy and Gunnar together. It took them awhile but they figured out their feelings for each other. This is my first book by this author but won't be my last. I'm ready to dive into the next book.
Narrator John Solo does a fantastic job. He really brought out the emotions in the characters.
