Publisher's Summary

As of February 11, 2019, this book has been re-edited and updated.

Since Grayson was a young cub in Alaska, he’s always wanted to be a park ranger. But when a rogue alpha attacks their small den unexpectedly, Grayson’s alpha father manages to get some of his family as well as two other families out of their village unnoticed. They flee for their lives, and head in the direction of Honey Creek in hopes of finding a welcoming den.

Park Ranger Jai wasn’t happy about getting relocated to Flathead Lake Park in Montana but he had to go where the Park Service sent him. Once there, his bear felt happy and content. Jai had hoped to find his mate there, but alas, nothing. Still, his panda grumbled any time Jai even thought about asking for a transfer, so he made the most of it and made Honey Creek his home.

When Grayson scents his mate on his first day as Flathead Lake’s newest park ranger, he’s not ready. He’s what most people would call a “baby alpha” as he’s just turned 21. He’s not prepared for a mate yet. His family is still recovering from losing everything and he hasn’t had time to establish himself in his position. But fate has other plans.

Things don’t go so smoothly and Grayson almost ruins his chances with his mate. When the same alpha shows up in Honey Creek, set on wiping out all male omegas, Alpha War and his den gear up for a fight for their lives.

Twins are wreaking havoc, triplets are starting to crawl, omegas are going into heat, old alphas are showing up and causing problems, warlocks are still “poofing” in and out at odd times, and Grayson is head over heels in love with his little mate.

Grayson’s Enlightenment is book four in the Honey Creek Den Series. Each book contains a fated mate pair, Mpreg, lots of knotting during growly sexy times, and babies. Did I mention babies? These alphas will do anything for their mates, just listen and see. The Honey Creek Den Series is a continuing series and is meant to be heard in order and not considered stand-alones, even though each book focuses on a different couple. This book is intended for adults only as these shifters tend to get growly and don’t watch their language.

Grayson and Jai's story is around 44,000 words in length.

amazing

Grayson is a young Alpha Polar Bear Shifter who is starting out. Jai is an older Omega Panda shifter who has a big beautiful home but lacked the mate and Cuba to fill it with. Fate seems set to change that when the two shifters scent one another and recognize that they are rated mates. Being young, Grayson stumbles a bit in courting and mating Jai... But fate knows what's it's doing so as long as these two trust in fate and their hearts, their Happily Ever After shall follow.
Great addition to the Honey Creek Den series, this book is sweet, funny and sexy. Definitely recommended read.

Kenneth Obi narrates and does a fantastic job.

Juvenile.. which surprised me...

Taylor, the 1st 2 were edging on the verge of juvenile, but you pulled thru with some interesting story line eventually. I must admit I am not sure I'm keeping this one, but I may keep the 1st 2. You went from writing for a 18 year old to a 12 year old (sans the sex). It felt a bit insulting, but once you get past the first 2 books, you want to know.

Kenneth, you did good for what you had to work with. I like your characterizations.

Listener, I think the 1st 2 of these series (I accidentally skipped the 3rd one..which I will listen to this weekend), are ok. Simple and entertaining. Shifter and warlock stuff...shabby but light and hopeful. This one you'll have a lot of problems with because it feels like Taylor is writing for teenagers. It already feels that way anyway, but this one is way down in the teenage list. Sans the sex of course.

I also NEVER get books that are this short, but I decided to give them a try. They are too short.

Excellent Series.

This is one of my favorite Alpha/Omega/Shifter/Mates series that I've listened to. Taylor Rylan is a beast with her writing and imagination. Each book makes you look forward to the next. I like the fact that she continues to instill the characters from the previous books. I wish she would write a book telling Elliott & Wallace story.🤞 I have totally fallen in love with those two, and, would love to listen to more of their beginning + the birth of their children. That would be amazing.🤗 Now that being said, the only complaint I have was the voices of Grayson & Ji. I am a total fan of Kenneth Obi and have listened to numerous books he's narrated. Hand down he is one of the best out here. He has truly been blessed with the gift of voice acting. Buuuuuut, Grayson sounded to wimpy for me being an alpha, and Ji to rough and bland. I liked them still just not their voices. Still, this is a gratifying series. I highly recommend it.🙂

as great as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the 3 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Still living this series

Loved seeing young alpha Grayson pick up on what it really means to take care of his mate! The narration as always was entertaining and added to the dynamics of the story. I can't wait for all the cubs and warlocks to grow up and have adventures of there own though!!
