Like the series but not this book...
I enjoyed the first few books but this book was too formulaic. I felt like the author added in two subplots for the Justus and Sunny storylines to try and help the reader get through the ridiculous and stupid plot line for the heroine. Pushed through because I wanted to finish the series but this book was a disappointment.

Struggled with this book
I feel like Silver went back to the annoy person she was in this book. She made stupid choices and I feel like her choices are what caused the horrible outcomes in this book. She came a long way in the last book to just lose fall back to the person she was. Hopefully she can redeem herself in the next book.
I do like all the other characters in the series, except for Adam. I blame him for one of the tragedies in this book and I don't know how the rest of the characters can still stand up for him and Silver.

Just Cannot Take Any More
I've tried to listen to this series a couple of time; made it to the beginning of Book 4 this time, but I can't take anymore. The narrator does an excellent job; however, she voices the character with a maturity that is in dire contrast with the way she is written. I just don't understand. This woman has half a dozen guys hanging about all expounding on her many virtues; strong, intelligent, capable, blah-blah-blah. But the fact is, she shouldn't be allowed out on her own ever. She can't go to the restroom without it becoming a life or death event. Then there's the "So I was kidnapped/nearly killed the last time I "borrowed" a vehicle because I'm an adult, damnit, so should be able to go out when I want even though I've been told to stay home (and the time before that, and the time before that), That could NEVER happen again....so I'm just going to wander off again. No worries." When she ran into the same guy who tried to kill her in the last book because all her protectors just let her wander around alone, I threw up my hands and just gave up. I won't finish it. I won't try again. Now. If Logan wised up and went out to get a spin-off series on his own .... that I'd listen to.

Worst Heroine Ever
Quit in the middle of chapter 9, cursing my stupidity for reading the first 3 books. Can't believe I've stuck it out this far hoping to see an evolution in the strength and badassery of Silver. She's a complete moron, always getting in ridiculous situations you could see coming a mile away, a childish intellect, and always having to be rescued by a bevy of men. Geesh! And how many times is the author going to have her cry her eyes out or whine plaintively? This reads like a bad Harlequin Romance dressed up as an urban fantasy. And what's with the overbearing suckitude of most of the male characters? Is this caveman behavior considered sexy? Just seems creepy.

Super Emotional Read
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Definitely! I'd recommend to start the series from the beginning though, as the story develops to reach great amounts of emotion. You get to love event the characters that are not the focus of the story and feel for them when things take an unexpected turn.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Gravity?
Can't say it without giving away spoilers.. BUT, a huge heartbreak is abound in this book. I have read the e-book version and even now listening to it I am holding on for dear life waiting... as if that turn of events would change, even though I know it won't.
What does Nicole Poole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She has done an amazing job with this series. I've read the books and I must say, the story comes to life in a way it didn't with me reading it on my own. The performance is stellar and she really did justice to the distinct personality of a lot of the characters.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
"You never know how strong you are until you are forced to punch back!"
Any additional comments?
Well worth the listen. I recommend it 100%

Full on emotional assault
Would you consider the audio edition of Gravity to be better than the print version?
loved both
Any additional comments?
Only 59 pages into Gravity I posted: I'm having a tiny tiny palpitation....a little more romance on the start up of this one...don't misread me here, I like a me some romance BUT the huge appeal to this series so far is the KICK ASS story and urban fantasy aspect.
So here I am with my heart beating wildly as I just finished this book! One due to the story & two when I clicked on next in series to purchase, a statement in BOLD type caught my attention: GREAT LAST BOOK IN SERIES*****
In one of those OMG, OMG **shallow breathing**moments I flew to Dark's website to confirm**heart in my throat**it falls to my feet and shatters.
I love and hate this type of relationship with a series...It has been so long since an urban fantasy series has come along that has so many great characters I could invest in and a fantastic storyline with twists and turns that I stay up reading until my eyes can no longer follow the text. One must highly respect an author that ends a story when they, as the creator, feel the story is done. So many try to hang on..money..retain/please readers and the story/characters suffer for it. Now having said that I'm still pouting, grieving and pissed as hell because...well, I want more!
Gravity was the most emotional of all the books so far. SO much happens in this book! There is betrayal, tragedy, suffering, loss, discoveries of truths, new characters, more betrayal and death. Seriously people have the kleenex and valium handy. The storyline follows the same roller coaster ride as the emotions, so many twists and turns and just when you think everything is going in one direction Dark plunges a stunner in your gut and you become the paralyzed passenger along for the ride. There is a fine line these days between paranormal romance and urban fantasy, most tending to fall into paranormal romance even when labels as UF. This is truly UF, while there are lots of hot, sexual beasts, sexual tension, sexual situations and well...sex, it is a compliment to the story NOT the story. Very well done, very well written and now I'm rambling...I'm fairly certain this is where I procrastinate reading the next book because I can't bear for it to end...

Emotionally addictive
Any additional comments?
Silver’s life is growing more and more complicated. There is more to her story than she thought was possible and her strengths show as she fights for those she loves. Her relationship with Logan is tested time and again but the Chitah remains by her side even when a new bond develops between her and her guard.
This series just gets better. Silver is such a strong character that her story alone would carry the book but add it to the unfolding lives of those around her and the story becomes a fully developed saga full of action, romance, heartbreak, humour, and everything in between.
This series is highly addictive and emotionally stirring, prepare to be completely immersed. I can also recommend the audio version of this story because the narrator is brilliant.

What did you like most about Gravity?
Gravity, such a well written story and a continuation of the Mageri series. I really couldn't stop listening to this book (in fact all of the Mageri series so far). The story is compelling, emotional with just the right sexual tension to make you want the story to continue. Silver and Logan's relationship is put to the test in this book, however the other characters evolve with their own story line (we get to hear a bit more about Justus and his life and love).
What did you like best about this story?
For me Logan and Silver's relationship and its major emotional challenges and trials had me desperate to keep listening.
What about Nicole Poole’s performance did you like?
Nicole has nailed these characters and brings them to life with her performance. For me a Narrator makes or breaks a great audio book.... Nicole has a liquid velvet tone which took me to another place.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I cried and laughed listening to this book.
Any additional comments?
Spend your credit, if you like urban fantasy/romance you will love this. I can't wait for the next book.

Another great instalment in the series. Though I found this one a bit sad and depressing for parts of it, it was still highly captivating. A WORD OF WARNING, for those new to the series, and particularly this instalment is really suited to people age 16+ as it has several graphic sex scenes,. Very exciting for ones mind but best for mature age persons preferably.
