book really touched my soul, as Tara shared such vulnerability in this story of her difficult journey through the hell of cancer, and such profound loss in her life. my grandmother died of breast cancer before I was born, so this gives me a bit of a window into the heart of a woman with this journey in front of her. Tara’s story is pure inspiration. Hearing the story told in her own voice, makes it all the more powerful and penetrating. Tara’s journey with cancer from diagnosis through her sometimes raging white-water physical and emotional journey leaves the listener with a visceral, close-up taste of her wild healing travels. Perhaps most impactful for me is the widsom that continually flows from Tara in this audiobook- the wisdom that comes with facing her mortality by letting go again and again and again. So inspiring!!

Such a compelling narrative about the author’s journey from hospice with Stage 4 cancer to being declared no evidence of disease. Despite the heavy subject matter, Tara’s optimism proved indestructible and kept me engaged if not fully invested in her story. She’s an inspiration!

Awe-inspiring book!

Tara’s story is one of hope and triumph in the face of a difficult breast cancer diagnosis. She proves with her indomitable spirit that anything is possible when you never give up hope and have the will to live.

Tara was determined to live with gratitude no matter what obstacles she came across on her healing journey. One of the many lessons she teaches her listeners is that sometimes you have to surrender your old belief systems in order to heal. Always a believer in natural medicine she made the difficult decision to do chemotherapy treatment when the cancer metastasized and was determined not to allow the fear of the treatment get in her way.

While continuing to blend allopathic medicine with natural medicine and focus on her self-care, Tara is doing amazing! What I find so inspiring about her story is her incredible ability to look at all she has endured as an opportunity to grow and give back to others.

I highly recommend Grace, Grit and Gratitude for anyone living with a difficult diagnosis. You will finish the book with renewed hope and strength.

Tara tells the story so well in this true story of grace, grit and gratitude. Her writing is impeccable at allowing the reader to learn alongside her on this amazing adventure of healing. My hair stood up in my skin several times as she held me in suspense and astonishment, and she also had me in tears. Her articulate description of events as they unfolded caused me to feel like I was right there with her. It's a miracle that she kept her positive attitude through each trial she endured.
I am truly humbled by the strength of this woman and she further inspires me to Fully Claim my own strength of spirit.
