Publisher's Summary

I wanted to fall for a boy. Not a man. Not a legend....

The month I wrote my first piece of code, Jax Jamieson launched his third platinum album.

The week I drank my first beer, he spent in jail.

The day I got under his skin, I wound up on his tour.

And the night he gave me his hoodie...

I fell in love forever.

Good Girl is part 1 in the best-selling new adult rock star trilogy Wicked! Jax and Haley’s romance continues in Bad Girl and concludes in Wicked Girl.

NOTE: Good Girl and Bad Girl end on cliffhangers - you'll find the book-hangover-worthy ending of Jax and Haley's story in Wicked Girl.

Great start to a new trilogy

I really enjoyed the kick off to this new trilogy which had great character development and storyline. I enjoyed the new take on a rockstar romance with a tech girl as the female lead in the book.
The narrators did a great job, and i am really liking Savannah Peachwood, who up until this year I'd never heard narrate before.
Joe Arden? what's not to like. Looking forward to book #2

Can a rockstar and an intern really mix it up?

Jax is the headline rock-star who is going on a farewell tour. He is hot and a rock-god. Haley is enamored with Jax, but has been offered and internship to work sound on the tour. She is overwhelmed with the duties, her app programming, and her infatuation with Jax. The tour is much more than she expected and gets her in too deep with Jax. Great story that keeps my interest throughout. Good performances by the narrators.

Lost Rockstar, lost nerd girl...found each other

I was sucked in from the first chapter. I wanted to know Jax and Hailey immediately and I wanted to know their past, their present, and their future. Luckily, this series promises that I will learn all three. But first book one!

Hailey feels that she is sad but hides it, she hides just about everything behind her computer and her love of music...as long as she isn’t touched and no one gets to close.

Jax is trying to make up for his childhood, for letting people down, for the choices he has made and continues to make. He hides too, he hides his secrets and, little does Hailey know, he hides her secrets as well.

The two are thrown together and learn how to breakdown walls. The story is beautifully written with some of the best feelings ever!!! Plus there is always the promise of what will be happening between them when the secrets are exposed. It drove me nuts, in the best way!! I want to know the why, the when, the how! I’m glad I’m in for two more books for the answers!

Solid book

I liked this book, a lot. There was a lot of really fun moments between Jax and Hailey and I liked that their relationship progressed somewhat slowly. I also really enjoyed the fact that the secondary characters were so flushed out and I'm very curious to see where some of their stories go.

Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood did a pretty solid job. Savannah Peachwood is one of my go-to narrators because I feel like she sounds like the appropriate age-range for the books I typically read. Joe Arden isn't my favorite narrator, but he's definitely one I don't mind listening to. I wish he would put a little more oomph into his reading because sometimes it feels very flat, but as a whole, I don't shy away from a book that he narrates.

Overall, this was a good book. I'm looking forward to the next book in this trilogy!

Good Girl

I completely forgot that I read this book and was so excited to find out Savannah Peachwood and Joe Arden narrated it. They are two my top favorite narrators! They did a terrific job with Jax and Haley.

This is a great series, you’ve got to read (or listen) in order!

I expected a full story not a Cliffhangers.

I really enjoyed this book but 4 hours of listening is not work a precious credit. So a paid the discounted price with Kindle Unlimited and I received a Cliffhanger. I am going to need to wait for the bundle to come out. that is too much money to spend. The book just stopped. it didn't even feel like a true ending. This series should either be part of the Romance package or read the ebook.
Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood are amazing narrators. You can never fail with these two.

Rockstar romance at its finest

Oh. Em. Gee.

Lordt. But Joe Arden's voice is so suave and gravelly; it's just so mesmerising!
I may have daydreamed here and there while listening and I had to hit rewind every now and then

His voice matches the hero's character perfectly and seriously, I could imagine this being portrayed right in front of my eyes.
I love when he's being pissy because it reflects in his tone and oh my. His voice when he's being sweet and sexy? I could float away.

I'd also like to say Savannah Peach fit her character really well. She nailed her character right! Her voice matches Joe Arden's in narration as well. Which IMO, is very important.

Good Girl

Haley is a computer tech who lands an internship at the music label whose biggest name is Jax Jamieson who also happens to be one of her music idols. Haley’s first encounter with Jax doesn’t well and he tries to get her fired. Haley’s quick thinking and computer skills not only saves her job but gets her added to the tour, much to Jax’s dismay.
This is my first book by Piper Lawson and it is very well written with a good flow. I loved how she made Haley a smart girl who loves music and not a “groupie” who hung on Jax every word. I enjoyed the banter between Jax and Haley and seeing the development of their relationship. There is a surprise development towards the end and the cliffhanger made me excited for the second book.
Joe Arden’s gravelly voice is perfect for Jax “tough on the outside, teddy bear on the inside” persona. Savannah Peachwood portrays Haley’s strong yet vulnerable personality beautifully.

Very good storyline

I’m loving this storyline. It’s very different from the usual rockstar book. Good characters and funny personalities. Brought to life by Savannah and Joe so very well.

Just the Beginning!

I really enjoyed this first book in the series! I liked the author's style and loved the characters. I could definitely relate to some of Haley's emotions. I was surprised that it is a mostly clean listen, see that it is a rockstar romance and all; however, I think this is going to end up being more of a slow burn and will well worth the wait. Of course, there is a cliffhanger so don't be too surprised about it (stock up on the story because you're going to want to keep listening).

Excellent performances by the narrators, they made this a very pleasant listen and their voices seemed to fit the characters well. I am very pleased with their narration and look forward to hearing them in the next book!

Chemistry hot story brilliant but ends on a cliffhanger.... be prepared to read on further! You will want to!

#AudioobsessionreviewSeptember
I loved the relationship development between Jax the brooding Rick star and Hayley the Intern who is on the tour to sort the sounds. Slow simmering tension as they tour with the group, have fun and soon develops into more. There is a couple of twists and a few secrets being kept..... these will be uncovered in book 2.
You will need to read further!
This book dragged me in that it took most of my day off to listen to! Ironing never seemed so easy! 😩🤣🤣🤣

Good

This is part of a trilogy so expect a cliffhanger. It’s good but the cliffhanger ending makes it a little unfulfilled.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
Well described characters
The storyline was progressing steadily and now I want the next book....

Narrator:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings

Fantastic!

Good Girl is a wonderful slow burn of a read. It’s got a hot, brooding rock star and a sweet geek of a girl who doesn’t know how sexy she is. It’s well written with an exciting storyline and great characters. I love the relationship that’s building between Jax and Haley and can’t wait to see what’s next for them in book 2. And thanks to the fantastic narrators for bringing this story to life!

Oh so good!

Who doesn't remember being like Haley and pining after the rocker? When Haley gets the chance to work on Jax's tour, she jumps at it. Who wouldn't? He's good looking, broody and so untouchable, the attraction is extreme. But what she doesn't expect to find is the real Jax. People are not always are perceived, and this feel good story, tells it like it is. I love Haley, full of confidence, a little lonely and has wonderful ideas. And Jax, even now, is the epitome of the man on stage that is impossible not to fall for, but as we get to know him, fall even more for him! It's a great start to this series, loved every minute.

Savannah Peachwood and Joe Arden team up to narrate this story and it could not have been better cast. I love Peachwood. She has a very youthful voice, dials in to the character and this case gives Haley enthusiasm and sensitivity. Arden plays the broody rocker giving Jax an aloofness at times that is so frosty, my earbuds freeze, then turns up the charm and melts it all back. I loved their storytelling.

YES!!! Fabulous story!

This book! If it isn't relatable there isn't another story out there that is! I was so pulled into Jax's and Haley's story that I finished this in just one afternoon. If you've been a teenage girl, Haley is the typical girl. We've all been there. Falling for the guy in the band that is so wrong for us. We can't help ourselves though.. really it must be in our DNA..

The narration was perfection. Joe Arden has this deep, gruff voice that I could listen to for hours and hours. I love the way his voice sounds with Savannah Peachwood's voice. She has this soft and silky tone that is a perfect counterpoint to Joe Arden's.

A perfect ending to a perfect trilogy

Quite possibly one of the best rock star series I’ve read. Book 3 in this trilogy really is the icing on the cake. What a finale! I’ve made no secret in my reviews of the previous books, I truly adore Jax and Haley. I was desperate for their happy ever after, which, because they are both so blooming stubborn, is not a foregone conclusion. Add into the mix, evil Todd, and I was so uncertain as to which way this story was going to go. I loved Annie and Tyler, they added such a lovely touch to the story (I can so see a book in the making with their story). Wonderful writing (dual POV), loveable characters, and a completely addictive storyline. If I could give a story more than 5 stars this would be it. This book cannot be read as a standalone and must be read after ‘Good Girl’ and ‘Bad Girl’. Narrators Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood narrate perfectly throughout the series. I can’t fault anything.

Sweet innocent student, meets rock star with attit

Hayley has had it tough for the last few years since her mother died, but she is determined to get through college with scholarships and hard work. She applies for an internship at a record company, in fact "the" record company, the one who represents her very favourite artist Jax Jamieson. Much to her surprise she gets it but manages to cause mayhem on her first day.

Just when she thinks she is going to be fired, her time with Wicked Records is sent off in a different direction as support for the sound engineer on tour with Jax Jamieson!

The story kicks off with a good girl put into some bad situations, wondering if she will cope being in confined spaces with others that are too close for comfort along with her secret crush for added discomfort!

Great start to the series with a cliffhanger to lead you into Bad Girl......
