Meh

So.... it started off better than it ended... I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews... the heroine is an idiot. She’s super immature and was so irrational toward her bar that she runs. If she’s smart enough to own and run a business then she SHOULD be smart enough to know it’s a bad investment and that the way she bought it was shady. Who buys a building for $50k?????? Makes me think this author is either very young or didn’t do any research. I finished the story but I doubt I’ll listen to this author again. Super cheesy, predictable and very vanilla... shouldn’t have wasted a credit on this

Disliked the female character so much I couldn’t finish the book

Not sure how it ended and I do not care to find out. She was vindictive, quick to jump to conclusions, whiny, and I could not root for her.

This was a new author and new narrator, for me. The narrator did a fine job. The author did an ok job! The book was predictable, definitely had some corney parts but, it also had some unique additions to the werewolf myth. The H and h shared the instant attraction that “fated mates”, usually do but then the author threw in some conflict that allowed the couple’s relationship to develop more naturally. There were a few funny line and I did enjoy the overall experience. The author definitely has some talent and I hope she sticks to it and hones her talent!

A little rushed - but good.

The entire event was quick - but it met all of the benchmarks for a paranormal romance. I just wish the story would have ended with the birth - of twins - but a boy, born first and a girl second.

Narration not the best

This was an okay story. It might have been better if there was also a male narrator or even a change in voice when the male character spoke. Sometimes it was hard to know who was talking or thinking.

I like a story that's good and to the point

I personally hate stories were the characters spend 90% of the time doubting eachother or not telling eachother important information, then something that could have been prevented gets blown out of proportion. THANK GOODNESS this doesn't happen in this book. the characters are direct, confident, and overall likeable. I recommend this book.

Waste of time & money(if you pay for it)!

1) Narrator sounds way to young for this book.
2) The book itself would be a teen book of you leave out the awkward cursing & the sex. ( it made me feel uncomfortable to listen to the young sounding Narrator read this!)
3) The author tried but I really don't think that she had a lot of experience.
4) To the author, please don't put a curse word in the middle of a sentence just to make it seem tougher. It just makes it awkward. Thank you

Typical 'B' Romance

The story:
It's a completely acceptable romance, a love story between two people with a bit of steam and hey, it has wolf shifters. Woman with with economic problems meets rich male - wolf shifter (also her boss). Sound familiar?

It is what I consider to be a 'B' romance, since it is missing all the things that would that make it truly interesting and unique. There are no memorable side characters, no personalities on any character besides the main two and even those are pretty standard. There's no humor involved and no real drama and no surprises either. The story is forgettable and blends together with the many similar stories that already exist. But the story is exactly what it promises to be, a very basic, feel-good romance.

The narrator:
I do feel a bit sorry for the rather good narrator who got stuck with this blah book. Thankfully she made it interesting enough to have going in the background and not just give up on the story entirely. Because honestly, everyone already knows how this story will end.

A nice easy read

There were parts I really enjoyed in this story but I felt it missed a bit too. I think I would have liked a little more chemistry and a lot more action when it came to the brothers fight. Overall it was a good easy read and the narrator did a fantastic job!

Good enough, but predictable.

I try to write honest reviews, without being pedantic or unkind, so here goes…..

This story was enjoyable enough, but it was quite predictable, but aren’t 90% of these romancey type stories just that? Isn’t that what we ultimately want from these offerings? HEA? Hotness and passion with a bit of drama and comedy thrown in?

This story was good and the characters were too, but again, it just felt a bit the same as so many, many others out there. Whilst I like choice, I prefer quality, and like in most areas of life now, most things are over saturated and not in a good way. Too much of everything but less quality as a result☹️

It wasn’t dreadful and It’s worth a listen, but glad it was included. Would I seek out more by this author? Probably not.
It just left me flat😐

Have listened to better and a lot, lot worse.

On the flip side, the narrator was very good.

An enemies to lovers success story

Emelia is strong and feisty but she is also poor and has been spun a lie by more than one man. The man she thinks is out to destroy her life, her livelihood is not all that he seems and the man who sold her the bar is most certainly not what he seemed. Who is the better man and will Emelia realise in time, once she knows the truth about the ridiculously rich and handsome Drake?

Intense romance in this enemies to lovers story could go either way, livelihoods and lives are at stake, which will win? I loved this story.

A sweet romantic story ❤️

This story is lighthearted and sweet. I do enjoy shifter stories and this one has a happy ending. I managed to listen to this story in one sitting. The narrator did an excellent job at capturing the characters and bringing the story to life.

Worth A Listen

I’ve listened to quite a few supernatural books and this one has so far been the best presented with a good story line. Totally worth the time 🙂
