10/10 highly recommend

Fun, light story that keeps bringing you back. I love the connection between the 3 sisters and enjoy the extra “little mysteries” that keep happening in their family. Can’t wait to hear the rest of Kelly Clark’s adventures.

Intriguing Mystery With a Good Twist

I enjoyed the story but the narrator really took away from the book. She was dry and robotic, no variety in any of the character voices and was bad emphasizing emotional moments. Otherwise the listen would've been more enjoyable. Though the story was good and I enjoyed the twist at the end, so that kept me going.

Romance, intrigue, and family dynamics

Give Me Chocolate audible was so worth the listen! The mystery keeps you wondering until the end, including the family dynamics. The romantic aspect is fun, while also a part of the mystery. I particularly also love the description of the area in the Chicago suburbs. I visited the area several times on business, and the author's depiction of the very charming Geneva nails it. very enjoyable!

Good Beginning to a New Series

Interesting characters. Good beginning to what should be a long series.

The narrator fit it like a glove.

I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward the the next in the series as well as what will come after. I also enjoyed how it took place in a local town and it made it even more real to me as I could picture what she was describing .

Delicious Cozy Mystery

Give me Chocolate is a deliciously fun little cozy mystery. Kelly Clark has done it again in the delicious, cozy mystery. This story has everything murder, addiction (not drugs), psychotic female, romance, misunderstandings, and suspense. I really enjoyed this thrill ride with a few twists thrown in for good measure. I won't give any spoilers, but what I will say is that exes just won't back off. Amanda Fichter did a phenomenal job bringing the story to life. Amanda's voice showed emotion, and even brought forth the characters personsonalites. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves cozy mysteries that grab you from the start and hold onto you until the very end. Extra bonus two delicious recipes in the end.

A delightful blend of whodunnits, old flames, family drama, and a dash of confectionery charm.

Beautifully crafted and realistic depiction of small-town life. The story unfolds when the protagonist (Kelly) goes through a divorce and leaves California for her hometown, Geneva, IL, she ends up moving into an apartment above her sister Nikki’s chocolate shop. As she writes her latest novel, elements from her past, both good and bad, resurface.

The narration and dialogue, enriched by the narrator’s skill at distinct and lively voices, brought the characters to life in a way that felt like sitting down for coffee with old friends. The conversations and interactions among the characters were engaging and authentic.

Highly recommend and look forward to more books from this talented author, who, together with the gifted narrator, has created a truly immersive and enjoyable experience.

Extra star for the yummy Red Velvet Recipe. I love when authors put that much thought into their novels.
