""FANS OF ALI HAZELWOOD WILL CHEER."" —Grace Reilly, USA Today bestselling author

""THE OPPOSITES ATTRACT LOVE STORY OF MY DREAMS."" —B. K. Borison, USA Today bestselling author

A swoony, steamy, STEM romance in which two curators at a science museum—a handsome but grumpy astronomer and an anxious but sunshine-y entomologist—realize they are the perfect match. Now with exclusive bonus content!

Millie has never taken the expected path. Her childhood love for bugs and science led her to entomology, and her role as a curator, inspiring museum visitors every day. It’s her dream to run her own department—so when a rare director position opens, she is determined nothing will distract her from her goal. Especially not Finn, her grumpy coworker with his permanent scowl, electric blue eyes, and endless supply of astronomy ties.

. . . Not that she’s spent time noticing any of those things.

Finn doesn’t mean to glare at everyone, but he’s juggling his role at the museum, navigating the grief of losing his sister, attempting to make his nieces smile, and trying not to ruin dinner for the fifth night in a row. He can’t afford to let anything slip, and certainly doesn’t need more to deal with—especially not Millie literally stumbling into him, with her bright smile and sunny optimism.

He bugs her. She’s too starry-eyed for him. They want nothing to do with each other. But with Finn on the interview committee, avoidance is impossible. And Millie soon realizes it’s one thing when a job is on the line. It’s quite another when it’s her heart.

Swoon! I loved reading Give Me Butterflies by Jillian Meadows, but I knew I had to listen to the audio when I learned that Victoria Connolly and Jason Clarke were narrating it. Performed in dual narration, Victoria and Jason fully embodied all things Millie and Finn. Victoria’s soft melodic voice and subtle nuances captured Milie’s passion for her job, vulnerabilities from a past relationship, and her newfound love for Finn. Jason’s low, growly timbre was just the right match for Finn, encompassing his broody, grumpy exterior and warm charismatic cinnamon roll interior perfectly. Plus both narrators created a simmering slow-burn chemistry between these two that was simply magnetic. I also adore Victoria and Jason’s kid voices!

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a STEM romance with a hot nerdy astronomer, a hardworking entomologist, new job promotions, coffee mishaps, fender benders, almond croissants, spiteful exes, adorable twin girls, pizza night, games with friends, baking dates, star gazing, family group texts, slow burn spicy times, second interviews, love declarations, and a HEA that was written in the stars, then you will love Millie and Finn’s story. I am looking forward to more from Jillian Meadows.

Great story. The narrators were good but really wish they did the true dual narrative. This book was absolutely adorable and secretly spicy.

this was a really sweet story. dual narration. I would have preferred duet but these two narrators are the best ones for a dual narration. I've listened to about 400 romance audio books at this point, so trust me. they are the best for dual narration, by a landslide. I really liked how genuine these characters were. I do wish there was a little more angst with the ex but this was a low angst read. no 3rd act breakup up. highly recommend.

super cute

I absolutely adored, it's a story. The STEM power couple who grows with each? I'm in love! I wish the performance was a bit more duet based, but otherwise, utterly beautiful and profound!

A book so good it was written in the stars!!

It’s the perfect mix of swoony, nerdy, and steamy! Millie, the anxious but sunshine-y entomologist (and fellow redhead!), and Finn, the grumpy astronomer, have electric chemistry and banter that had me grinning the whole time. Also, that dedication about constantly apologizing? I felt that. And you know what? It’s time I stop too. 🦋🪐

Absolutely ADORED Give Me Butterflies!

• Coworkers to lovers
• Astronomer x Entomologist
• Grumpy x sunshine
• Forbidden
• Healthy communication
• Guardianship of twin nieces
• Caretaking moments
• Verbal sparing x nerdy banter
• Found family
• Grief and anxiety rep
• Slow burn

Obsessed doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel about this book! It was everything I needed it to be! The nerdy banter and sweet caretaking had me hooked from the very start. But as cute as this story was, it also touched on some pretty sensitive topics, like navigating anxiety and grief. Jillian did such an incredible job representing those struggles within these two characters.

Finn's grief was so perfectly captured, and the way he was raising his sweet nieces exactly how his sister would have wanted was so well done! I loved his relationship with them so much! And when he called them "my girls," SWOON!!! His character is beautifully written.

I loved the verbal sparring between these two characters so much! And the way Millie kept score 🤣 in the sequence of events that happened in the beginning of this book was hilarious!! It only added to my love for these characters!

I absolutely LOVED Millie's character! She was perfectly quirky and just brilliant! She brought so much joy to Finn's life without even realizing it at first! And I just loved seeing her relationship grow with the girls! She became such a safe place for all of them! And getting to see her sweet family dynamic, where she came from and grew up, was so well done. I loved the difference in family background between Millie and Finn! But even as different as they both were, she still understood and valued how differently he was raised than her. The sweetest moments were between his nieces and her family!

Millie's anxiety was also beautifully written. It wasn’t always present, but the way her character handled it was so well captured and expressed. It truly added so perfectly to the vulnerable moments of this book!

Also, let's not forget that Millie is a board game loving QUEEEEENN! Which spoke to my soul! And she ever referenced BGG!!! IYKYK! And the fact that Finn took her on a date specifically to let her pick out new board games. My heart was swooning so hard for that man! He honestly planned some of the best date nights I've ever read about!

I'm so excited for more from Jillian! Her writing is so stunning, and she captures her characters with so much love! I couldn’t get enough!

Dual narration
Narrated by Jason Clarke and Victoria Connolly

Perfectly narrated. These two narrators captured each of these characters so well. From the raw vulnerability to the sharp, witty sparring, they brought them to life with such heartwarming performances! Jason as a grump with a vulnerable side will forever be a favorite of mine. He always does such a wonderful job, and his performance for Finn was exactly that. Wonderful. He nailed every grumpy and vulnerable moment! Victoria’s performance for Millie was so sweet and tender. I loved every second. She has such a playful-sounding voice, which always comes out so well in the FMCs she performs, especially during funny banter moments. And there were many of those! From the playful way Millie called Finn “Spock,” to how she ran into him and spilled coffee down the front of him, to how she ran into his bumper, and my favorite, how she broke his nose. They were all so perfectly captured between these two! It truly was a perfect audiobook!

Beautiful book. Perfect cast.

I absolutely loved this audiobook! Give Me Butterflies was the perfect mix of sweet, funny, and heartwarming — the kind of story that makes you smile one minute and tear up the next. The characters were so lovable and real, and the chemistry? Amazing.
