Publisher's Summary

They call this place Magic Blessed Academy, but I sure as hell don’t feel blessed.

I never asked for these powers. I never asked to be yanked away from my perfectly good life and forced to come here.

But the gods have gifted me with magic, and now I have no choice.

If I was smart, I’d keep my head down and play it safe until I can graduate.

And I definitely wouldn’t go up against the three gorgeous, infuriating men who rule the school - Trace, Merrick, and Lachlan.

But when we’re all chosen to compete in the Gods’ challenge, a deadly competition for the honor of meeting the gods themselves, teaming up with my bullies may be my only chance at survival.

Now the only question is: Will we kill each other or screw each other first?

This is the first book in the Magic Blessed Academy series, a university-age reverse harem paranormal romance. It contains cursing and sexual situations, and is intended for listeners over 18.

Gods vs magic users

I didn’t like Aria. I love a badass woman who stands up for herself but Aria was just a bitch. She was cruel for no reason except she was scared of showing feelings because she didn’t want to be a weak girl. I do not like that at all. I also didn’t like the “men”. They were all 20 something year olds that acted like they were 15 and it was obnoxious. If you are going to have an academy book with people outside of high school, then they need to act like they are OUTSIDE of high school.. if this groups of characters were younger I would have been fine with most of what happens.

The storyline itself was good. It’s the only reason this book got 3 stars. I like the whole gods giving them magic idea. I just hated the characters and their immaturity.

Unique and exciting

Aria was a very strong female fighting and was gifted with god powers. I love story’s with trials and this one was so good especially bc her harem of men finally put there differences aside during it. Can’t wait for more

Great Story and Wonderful Reading

I loved this story so much, it was a bit like the Triwizard Tournament meets the Hunger Games... lots of action and plenty of emotions to go with it. My husband and I both found the steamy parts to be quite hot! Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Gift of a Good Story

An enjoyable audiobook is always enhanced by a good narrator. This audiobook had both and did not disappoint in either area. This does end on a cliffhanger, however, I am intrigued enough to continue on to the next book.
Mystery, romance, hot times.. all my favorite stuff. 5 paws up from me and the cat. 🐾🐾🐾🐱

Needed more

Liked the premise of the story. Unfortunately there was too much telling us vs showing us so I didn't connect with the characters. For example at the beginning when Aria arrives at the academy we get one encounter with Merrick and then weeks go by and we are told the guys bullied and picked on her but we never see it. When they are in the trials we are also told about creatures and such that they have encountered but we don't see it. I think this story could have been fantastic if the details were more fleshed out.

Narrator did a great job with all the characters.

Story: This was a really interesting story. I enjoyed it a lot. Initially, I didn't like any of the characters. It starts off as a bully situation. Aria was a complete b**ch for the most part and the guys were all a**holes who acted more like 15 yr olds that 20 something yr olds. But, as the story progressed, they grew on me.

Narration: Stacey Glemboski was new to me but I definitely want to hear more of her narrations. She did really well with all the character's voices and with emotional tone.

alright

the story itself has a lot a potential if there was a little more time spent on the plot and background details.

Brilliant

This is a brilliant story with a bit of everything in it, action, adventure a mystery and a quest with the tease of a reverse harem theme. The wonderful narration really brings this book to life. I loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next.

Great Heroine

Great Heroine
Gift of the Gods, the first book in the Magic Blessed Academy series, is entertaining and very engaging. The storyline is well-developed with great characters. I really like the heroine, Aria, she is independent, smart, intelligent, and tough. Seriously, who doesn't love a super chick?

Stacey Glemboski does an exceptional job with the narration, bringing the characters and the story to life for the listeners. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Great

I loved this story from start to finish. It had me enthralled right from the beginning. The narrator was perfect in every way. When I finished I rushed to get the next book in series. But to my disappointment its not out yet. 😢😢😢
I would so recommend this story to all. Helen xcx
