Publisher's Summary

There's never a good time for a ghost crisis. However, it's particularly inconvenient while I'm trying to tackle my first wedding season. Between 12-hour days, an assistant with a case of butterfingers (not the chocolate kind), and the flood of tourists in town, I'm struggling to keep a grip on my sanity.

All I want is three months of peace from the spirit world. But when local ghosts start going missing, I have to do something. After all, it's not like they go to the Hamptons.

Missing ghosts, a posthumously alimony-hungry divorcee, and a raging bridezilla. Yup, my bingo card is officially full. Can I get a prize and go home now?

Ghost Drama For the Win

Really enjoyed this second installment following florist Scarlet, her boyfriend Lucas, and her small group of ghosts that follow her. I love that we continue to get a deepening look into not only Scarlet but the ghosts that follow her and their dynamics. We are introduced to a new accident prone shop assistant, a bridezilla and her family circle, as well as a angry divorce ghost. The villains in the story that thread throughout in different forms are just the right amount of antagonistic and annoying without making you want to throw the book away in frustration. It is fun to watch Scarlet navigate the spirit and human worlds and help where she can. I also appreciate the more realistic approaches of when finding info confronting folks but then turning it over to the police. There is fun humor throughout without it just being puns and great dialogue and character development. I find these stories wonderfully engaging and the multiple mysteries that are occurring in the story to pace nicely and really draw the reader in. Danielle does a great lead in for the next volume without leaving one feel like you've been dumped into a cliff hanger. Great read for those that enjoy a light funny supernatural cozy mystery with the barest of there romances.

Still good.

Another good listen by Danielle Garrett. So far thus series us just as good as Magic Mysteries. I've been listening to Beachwood Harbor Magic and Ghost Mysteries together in as much chronological order as possible. Both series are a wonderful guilty pleasure!

Another funny mystery from Danielle Garrett with great narration by Amanda Ronconi! I found I was looking forward to the “ghostly “ characters and their antics along with the main character. Story was well developed and keep me wanting more.

Another good book in the series

Scarlet investigates missing ghosts in this book along with who murdered the ghost, Kimberly. Nice cozy mystery with some humor, mild romance, ghosts and murder solving. Scarlet and Lucas continue to develop their relationship as he helps her solve the mysteries. I did enjoy the first book a little more though.
