Publisher's summary

Frank Barnes, a former professor and senator from West Virginia, is running for president of the United States. Tired of the corruption and illegal acts perpetrated by the current president, he’s determined to make a difference.

Behind in the polls, Frank hasn’t a ghost of a chance of winning, until a real ghost - the ghost of Theodore Roosevelt makes a startling appearance. A book bought for Frank’s birthday, Alice in Wonderland, came from Teddy’s personal library and his ghost is attached to that book.

When the book is stolen by a rival candidate, Teddy must go to extreme lengths to get it back into Frank's hands. With Teddy’s help, Frank’s numbers begin rise in the polls, but not without hilarious and disastrous consequences.

A fun yarn with tbe ghost of TR

This listens like watching a movie. A simple story with a supernatural twist. Not the most amazing tale ever told but a good simple listen with excellent narrator performance that flows like scanning a paperback while on vacation. Worth a credit for easy entertainment, especially if you enjoy Teddy .... er .... umm .... Colonel Roosevelt. :-)

don't call me Teddy

I found this entertaining and humorous. I especially liked the candidate debate when Teddy inhabited the opponents. I liked all the references to Teddy's mottos too. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Senator gets some help from the past!

Ghost of a Chance by Nick Koorolev is a wonderful story filled with optimism, politics, Teddy Roosevelt’s energy and a bit of the supernatural. Sen. Barnes (WV) is running for president. He is gifted a book from TR’s library and it comes complete with Pres. Roosevelt’s ghost! Pres. (Don’t call me Teddy) Roosevelt begins to help Barnes’s campaign. Lots of drama, comedy, and Teddy Roosevelt quotes and personality. The narration by Eddie Fierson was wonderful! He brought the story to life!
