I enjoyed the narration and the exciting pace of the story. Wilbur Smith has done it again.

Brilliance by numbers

When it comes to a Wilbur Smith historical novel, you are either in, or you are out. Very similar to a James Bond. You know what to expect as you open the first page. The male hero, the cruel villain, the beautiful loyal girl and sweeping scenery. I am a WS fan and this book is the most Wilbur Smithian of its type for some while. Loved it!!

Overall it’s very nice.

Another very enjoyable Wilber Smith book but more importantly it was narrated by Sean Barrett. I think he could read a bad book and make me like it. :-)

A very intense and violent book, gripping to the end. I enjoyed that the ending was not rushed.

Great story, amazing orator

Wilbur smith has been my favorite author for years now, and I can’t imagine anyone other than Sean Barrett narrating the stories at this point. Keep up the amazing work!

Typical Wilbur Smith book that keeps you engaged the whole time. I love the way that Mr. Smith’s characters get into and out of the most vivid and exciting situations! Always hard for me to either put down (hard copy) or stop listening to on audio!

Another great Wilbur Smith story

Exciting, romantic and very well written. Wilbur Smith had me reading for hours on end to reach the conclusion of this exciting story of the early Courtney family.
