Terrible narration

The female author sounds like she is reading single words off flash cards. I believe a computer narrated book would have more emotion. This was so hard to listen to that I could get past chapter 2. I’m disappointed that Audible would allow this book to be offered. I want a refund!

Can't find the PDF mentioned at the end :(

Where is the PDF of Imago exercises, supposedly at harvilleandhelen.com? I can't find it anywhere on the site.

Excellent content, BUT...

Very good advice and content, well with the read. But she is almost impossible to bear. Her reading is broken up with odd pauses and very disingenuous affects and voice fluctuations (in an attempt to convey emotion).

Even with the ear raping, it is still worth the read. The message and direct advice on how to work through childhood trauma/damage via your partnership and marriage is sound.

Just wish they had invested in professional readers, as I will reread (listen) to this book several times.

Helen

I get that Harville wanted to give Helen her proper dues for the contribution she made to the book but she is really difficult to listen to.. Id prefer if it was just him.
