Typical Roald Dahl fun

If you like Roald Dahl quirkiness and humor, you'll love this one too...the quirkiness and word play of books like the BFG and the Twits with hidden value in the story like evil, greed, and bad being defeated by good in crazy, impossible ways. A unforeseen, imaginative, unexpected hero and funny twist of events leading to good defeating bad.

Such a fun story and Derek Jacobi is brilliant!

The tale is a great Dahl story all wacky and silly and fun. Derek Jacobi is perfect reading it. I loved it.

Not My Favorite

I didn't care for how unpleasant the interactions were. It had some funny parts but overall I wasn't sure what the point of the story was.

First Roald Dahl story I didn't like

First, Derek Jacobi could read the telephone book and make it sound good. The man's one of the best actors on the planet. So it's not his fault. The story just didn't do it for me. I found it highly annoying.

George's Grandma

I loved this book very much. I loved George's Grandma. It was a bit short though.🤔
