TikTok didn’t steer me wrong!

Just watching John on his TikTok accounts you can tell he’s a great story teller! I’m a Nora Roberts kind of gal but this story pulled me in from the start! I love a good sarcastic hero!!!! Can’t wait to start book two!!!!

It’s a great story that will keep you engaged throughout. Loved the narration as well. Props to the author. You have a great story here. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Now one of my favorite books and series.

I read the paperback first and then listened to the audiobook because I couldn’t get enough. It kept my attention from beginning to end! I’m confused about the reviews that talk about lack of character development because these characters are so well rounded I feel like I know them. I find myself thinking about them even while not reading. Whether you liked this book or not I highly suggest you grab book 2 because it really just gets better and better.

great series! Loved the characters and the story is so good. Could never figure out what was going to happen next. The narration was superb. the voice of Jericho lives!

Not Groundbreaking, but fun

Found out about the book via the authors 'Turn Around Alan' Tik Tok. I found the story to remind me of Rick Riordan's style (I've enjoyed all of the Percy Jackson and friends adventures.) Outside of the style I did find the overall plot fun. Character building and depth was a little lacking, but the book was short so they could get flushed out in books 2-3. This may not be "a read multiple times" type of book, but no regrets and I look forward to what is to come.
