G. K. Chesterton was a famous English writer, Christian thinker, and philosopher that lived between 1874 and 1936. Here are three of his finest nonfiction works collected in a single volume: What's Wrong with the World, Orthodoxy, and Heretics.

Within the audio of this collection, you’ll discover how Chesterton sets forth one of the most telling critiques of contemporary religious notions ever, and how he accepted his opponents’ challenge to set forth his own reasons for accepting the Christian faith. This collection is a goldmine of insightful thinking that is guaranteed to stimulate your mind.

Mr. Chesterton is the finest thinker of our modern era and has the ability articulate his thinking in keeping with true genius. Mr. York however is perhaps not best suited to the content and struggles with pronunciation at times.

This is a great collection of GL Chesterton, I have read most of this as paperback and was looking forward to hearing it again on my commutes. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if it’s just me or what, but no matter what speakers or headphones I use the “s” are so overpowering it’s uncomfortable at time to listen to.

Great Stuff but the recording is trash

This book is a true classic! The concepts are very challenging for the average person yet interesting and thought-provoking. It is filled with philosophical and theological writings and I can see myself listening to it many times over, each time gaining additional insights. It’s a must-read classic and a must-read if you’re interested in G. K. Chesterton's writings. It is very well-written and really captures the essence of Chesterton’s writings.

Contrary to other reviews, I found the narrator’s voice to be pleasant and unique. I think it fits the style and adds character to Chesterton’s writings. It might not be the most exciting narration, but it matches the tone and is appropriate for the tone of the writings.

Overall, I recommend this audiobook for all who are interested in philosophical writings or learning more about Chesterton.

A true classic! Challenging but worth the read!

Chesterton's mind, heart, wit, and humor are truly a balm and blessing. The narrator did alright, but I would have appreciated a slower pace, in that some of Chesterton's phrases and aphorisms are too rich and incredible to unpack if quickly read.
