The best book on public speaking Ive ever read

Start to finish, applicable strategies from everything that encompasses speaking and trying to convey your message to an audience. I relisten at times as a perfect tune up to sharpen my speeches.

Full of actionable tips and sound advice

This book is full of helpful tips on how to prepare and give a great presentation. I liked how the author gave step by step instructions for many of the techiques ranging from the tone of your voice, to telling a good story. Worth reading again.

The Blueprint For Becoming An Amazing Communicator

I've had this book for 2 months and have already listened to it 3 times!

There's so much information, techniques, tips, and strategies that you'll keep coming back to this for years.

Ron does an excellent job of explaining real world strategies from decades of first hand experience.

If you want to improve as a communicator, speaker, or influencer this is the book for you!

What made the experience of listening to From Presentation to Standing Ovation the most enjoyable?

Author does a great job with self-narration, but I suppose he's a world class speaker. ;)

What was one of the most memorable moments of From Presentation to Standing Ovation?

Love the intro story about the author's life being saved by a public speaker, very powerful to see why he's so passiobate about helping others get their message to those who need it.

Liked the story of his meeting with Warren Buffet, and the memorization tool he gives through visualization is super valuable to me.

Any additional comments?

Not sure why this is so inexpensive, it was worth $20 or a credit, but it was nice to just use a few bucks and preserve my credits.

Buy it, one of the best books on public speaking I've come across. VERY actionable too!

What did you love best about From Presentation to Standing Ovation?

This book will get you into the right frame of mind.

I originally purchased the audiobook for my long distance drives. I realized early on how valuable this audiobook was because I was jotting down key points on my notepad every few minutes. I told myself 'If im writing this many times, it has to be important'. This was abundantly clear after I'd nearly veered off the road 4-5 times trying to jot down notes while driving; I strongly advise against that as you increase your risk of not having any presentation to do because, well, mortality.

What does Ron Tsang bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The author is extremely effective at helping you change the impact of your presence when you are summoned to step up to what ever podium of life you are called up to speak... or be. Furthermore, it gears you for being in the moment as oppose to having your mind ahead, behind and anywhere but where you want and need it to be.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Prepare as athletes do by getting in the zone before they are to perform. Music, physical activity... What ever it may be!

Great for referencing and coming back to. The audiobook is so easy to listen to as well!
