Great story that held a plot all the way till the end!
The future looks very different without families, children and women. I enjoyed listening to Freezing Reign.

Creative Plot Twists!
What began as a metaphorically colorful tale that could have gone fluffy, soon exploded into a creative thought provoking thriller! Every character was richly dimensional and interesting and the premise fresh. YA, but good for adults too. We really enjoyed listening while on a road trip, and were repeatedly struck (in the very BEST way) by "what the heck?" thoughts. The reader was excellent with a layered voice performing amazing characterizations. Humor, angst, thrills, warmth - this book has it all. Can't wait for the next book.

Interesting for a moment
Interesting story but somehow still fell flat. I think I couldn’t connect the way I wanted to because the main character took head strong and woman rights to a whole new level. I mean if the whole human race would die with out you would you really have no mercy to try and at least see with an open mind what your willing to do to help it. Paints men in general as animals out for the hunt when really it should have been the select few. Just seemed a bit jaded. It was a cool story but not at the same time, don’t plan on reading next books.
