What did you love best about Free Days with George?

The memories of the grandfather, who in turn, advocated healing as a loving unit between man and dog without even being there in the physical sense.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Free Days with George?

The first surf. It was so exciting that I held my breath as I listened.

What about Rudy Sanda’s performance did you like?

He's a good reader in that he tells the story as if he is sitting across the table from the listener. He doesn't just read words.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the author's copilot warmed up to George, and that the author chose loving care, and safety even though his friend wasn't that excited about it. I chuckled the whole time while picturing the author in the jump seat-peering over the dash. LOL!!
I felt really sad after Jane (Doe, as I called her in my mind) went away. That night in the basement, and in the porch felt so raw and hollow. Very gut-wrenching.

Couldn't finish it the first time. Too depressing but after the first part and when he got George it was wonderful. DeLight

Love dogs

I do much enjoyed this book you will too . The best book ever about dogs .

Wonderful

I completely enjoyed this book. Not only the fear, humor, patience and heart that comes into saving another as well as saving yourself;
but also the story behind the story. the reality that need each other and it really takes is love.

Leaves the Reader…Still on the Leash

Very tender and touching story but leaves the reader still on the leash of Collins life. What happened? How did the story..his story…end? George may have saved Collin but Collin didn’t save his readers…it would have been better if the story began “after” his emotional crisis happened rather to pull us in and not provide closer… As we all can’t all run out and get a dog when life “poops” on us…how do we get to the place where George can found in other forms of life? This book left me walking the dog of my imagination…just haphazardly questioning and wondering. ((Sign))
