Publisher's summary

This audiobook explores the reasons why so many people feel more anxious, overwhelmed and stressed than ever.

With a particular interest in the rising levels of anxiety, Stella O'Malley demonstrates how our increasingly perfectionist and materialistic lifestyles have created a society which is shallow and toxic, high on expectation and low on satisfaction.

The second part of the audiobook focuses on tapping in to our inner strength so that we can learn to stop giving our power away. With simple thinking tools, this audiobook aims to empower listeners to face any mental health challenges which come their way.

Intellectual, Authentic, and Caring

A great read (listen) for everyone. A brisk but compassionate walk through issues over anxiety - both as over diagnosed and fostered and as practical reflections and methods for overcoming anxiety. The young generation might lean on this work for years to come, as we all reconcile with post-pandemic life. The narrator does a lovely job, though I miss the usual tone of the author, as she routinely speaks with a smile and humility that is endearing and authentic. Overall grateful for this book. Thank you Stella O’Malley for stepping up!!
