Reverse Harem?

Well, the book is dark, that’s for sure. So if you like that kind of thing, you’ll find it here. But to me reverse harem is more than (spoiler alert) one time together as a group. I wish they would have had more sexy times in a group setting.

If you like the assassin/revenge/mafia plot, and you don’t mind the lack of group time, you’re in luck. There’s a LOT more of the assassin/revenge plot than there is of the romance. And the romance (I can’t really call it a love story) was a tad unbelievable.

Overall, I’m not a huge fan, but I didn’t hate it.

2 Words... Silas Black!

ALL THE GUYS WERE SEXY AND ENDEARING BUT THAT SILAS BLACK WAS THE STUFF DREAMS ARE MADE OF!! GABRIEL & BARON WERE INTENSE AND SO ADORABLE AT TIMES! THE FEMALE LEAD IRIS PAVETTA WAS GREAT, A TIMES ANNOYED ME BUT LIKEABLE.

Hot & Oh so sweet!

Iris, the dad and 2 hot brothers are more then what you can sometimes ask for! The story line wasn’t as taboo and dark as I had anticipated! I thought there would be a lot more dirty sex, but it didn’t cross that line until the very end! The story line itself was great, a slow burn, explosion and then a different kind of happily ever after! Loved that they told everyone’s story in as a short well explained version, while still giving the overall story line its own meaning!

Narration was great, Allie didn’t disappoint with all the feels, voices and gestures! The only down fall is, at the beginning there is quiet a bit of background noise that makes you question if you are hearing two books?!

The narrator was horrible

The heroine was extremely whiny. I hope the author rethinks using this narrator again. The story could have been so much better.

Dark reverse harem

If you’re looking for a taboo/dark/steamy/quick read, this is your book. I enjoyed the narration and story line. It’s a great balance of story and steam.

Sara and Rachel did a great job pulling me into the story. I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Iris, Silas, Gabriel, and Baron.

Allie did a great job on the narration. I listened to the book at 1.9 speed and it sound great. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romance, reverse harem romances, assassins romance, mafia romance, or romantic suspense.

Good storyline!💜

I enjoyed the overall storyline. I admit that RH is not my favorite genre and here’s why.
While I love sex as much as the next person, I believe a book should tell a a story and not just be about sex all the time. I know what you’re thinking… it’s a RH there’s bound to be a lot of sex. That’s true, I expect it even, however, there is a time and place for sex. And when people are shooting at you are you hiding from someone who wants to kidnap you (examples only. Not necessarily from this book) that is not the time to get into it. Most RH are like this. That’s okay, that’s what readers expect and that’s why it’s not my favorite genre. Whew, having said all that… the sex was on fire. The men were HAF and I loved the actual storyline. I also loved how the men weren’t automatically drawn to her and she didn’t like them either. That was refreshing from what I’ve read in other RH.
The narration was absolutely fantastic! Allie Piper’s voice acting performance was stellar. She portrayed the characters emotions brilliantly.
This was book 1 in a duet series!

Sisters Spotlight 💜

Sexy, interesting,, and just this side of taboo..

Talk about your daddy issues! lol. Other than walking the line of incestuous and being borderline daddy/daughter porn, this was a good book. No complaints. Good plot and narration. I definitely don't consider this one a waste of a credit.

Four is super sharp, dark, and deliciously sexy with a well-built plot. It's rich in content and drama! It will keep you captivated from the beginning. This story has suspense, danger, action, intrigue, emotions galore🖤 and is steamy AF.

Allie Piper truly enhanced this books experience.

Hot alpha steaminess

Going into this I thought it’d be another sexy mafia story. It ended up being more! I enjoyed watching the transformation of a spoiled princess become someone who becomes capable of taking care of herself. Throw in some some hot men who become the protectors and it gets steamy!

Reverse Harem story

This is the first book I've listened to by these authors. I was pleasantly surprised by the story and the twists. I enjoyed the chemistry between the four main characters. The whole reverse harem with the Dad was slightly different from previous books I've read. The book is tastefully written.

The narrator did a great good job bringing the characters to life and assigning them with distinguishable voices.

Couldn’t put it down

I couldn’t put this down I wanted more of it each time I had to stop listening, I loved how the narrator brought the characters to live. This book had me laughing and just wanting to be in the action. I’ve recommended this book to a few people already. I again loved it thank you 💜

Dark story

I was rather disappointed in this book. The storyline though very dark and brutal had an interesting plot but some how I never got emotionally invested in the characters. I still read the whole thing but really missed that connection!
Good narration though

100% PERFECTION

This audio couldnt be anymore perfect. It brought me back in time to when I read it the first time. I LOVE this story so much and these authors are so incredibly talented.

Really good story

This was a great listen. I enjoyed the performance and the story kept me interested. I enjoyed the characters and dialogue. The story flowed well and the ending was a for now ending, but still left you satisfied.

So good

Iris watches as her Father and all his men are killed before he dies he tells her to go and find Silas Black. There she meets Silas and his sons who look at her with cold calculating looks . When she finds out they are all assassins she asks them to train her so she can get her revenge on the man who killed her father.

slow start but good once into it

This story took me awhile to get into. The beginning was slow and I was not a fan of Iris when it began, she seemed whiny and kind of flat but as the story progressed she began to show her back bone and I definitely began to cheer for her and her guys. This book has quite a few triggers so read the warning before diving in if you have things that can bother you but if you're up for it give it a go just don't quit after the first few chapters, its worth the wait.

Mafia RH

enjoyed this listen - lots of steam if you are in the mood for that! enjoyed the narration. definitely some triggers so check it out a but before listening. I enjoyed the HEAish ending.

This was interesting.

When Iris’ father is murdered, he tells her to run and to find Silas Black…. So she does.

She finds Silas, and his two sons, Gabriel and Baron. She is allowed to stay with them and they will train her so she can have her revenge on the man that murdered her father, but they’ve been without female companionship fo a long time and Gabriel and Silas have trouble staying away from her. Baron is a little stand-of dish at first, but he also gives in.

This is ok for me. I love dark, and this was not as dark as I thought it would be. Parts of it were interesting, and I liked the listen.. I’m glad I did listen.. it just wasn’t my favorite.

Suspenseful and steamy

This book was good, although it felt slightly farfetched... Let me explain.

Iris has just had her life ripped away from her, all she has is a name and address so when she shows up on the front step I'm intrigued as to what she will find behind the door. But I got more than I could've imagined.

Gabriel is the first Black she runs into and the meeting is terrifying for Iris to say the least. Then there is Baron who seems so soulless and dead inside. Then you have Silas, the one she is there for to begin with. The name on the note. The last words her father spoke to her, "Find Silas Black." The dynamic between the three is interesting, but you can feel the tension from the start.

Now the relationship with Gabriel was interesting, he was interesting alone, but I didn't expect him to be who he was.. no spoilers, but I was surprised by him. However, I didn't like the relationship between them two. It felt more like friendship in my opinion.

Then there was Silas, that relationship felt so real! Now I know he's older and its taboo and wrong or whatever but I got it. He felt safe and she so desperately needed that after what she had been through.

And last but most definitely not least we have Baron, my personal favorite. I loved her relationship with Baron and he's the one I would've liked to see her choose. But I get it, #whychoose.

Now there isn't really any sharing per se, but there is one scene that I felt like threw the whole thing out, I liked her with them individually and liked that even though they were sharing they were still territorial, but then dinner happens. I'm trying not to say too much but yeah..

This book was interesting and gave me a different perspective on things than what I'm used to and I liked that about it. The drama/suspense was really good, but the RH was lacking in my opinion.

All that being said, Allie Piper was top notch! She gave all of the different characters their own thing and made me forget I wasn't listening to different people talk. It was great and really made this book better for me! I can't wait to listen to more from her.
