It was great to see the different sides of living in East Germany. This story allows a glimpse into what it was like for those young and old trying to live their best life among the harsh rules of the government.

Story about the Cold War

Good read. Loyalty, love, and hope for a family torn apart by communism. Resilience in the face of starvation and being constantly afraid and under constant scrinity of the communists.
