Publisher's Summary

I've always hated her. She's always hated me. We've never been friends, just the best of enemies....

I've hated Rachel Dawson since I was seven years old. My next-door neighbor and number-one sworn enemy - she's the reason why almost all of our childhood fights ended with me setting something of hers on fire. (Or, vice versa.)

She snitched on me when I broke curfew. I snitched on her when she lied about having a boyfriend. We went back and forth like this throughout high school, both vowing to never talk to each other again when we went off to college.

But that was until she showed up at my apartment during my senior year and asked me for a temporary place to stay. Until living with her day after day became unbearable, and one passionate argument changed everything. Well, almost everything.

I've always hated her. She's always hated me. I'm not sure what the hell is happening, and I can't tell if we're still "enemies"....

Very well done!!

This was a funny and well narrated enemies to lovers book. Joe Arden and Erin were hilarious and had their usual chemistry. I love these two. Thank you Whitney G. for keeping them together in this story.
It was written differently than some of the some of the usual enemies to lovers stories due to some really funny letter writing. These characters met as kids; hated/liked each other starting from age 7 through college but it was channeled as anger and hate and the story took us back to their younger years when they first met and how they got together again during their college years.
Funny the parents knew they really liked each other.
There are some sad moments but not enough to fret over....the story was pretty light and tame as to their sexual chemistry but lots of references. Joe has his usual potty mouth that keeps you smiling.
They really kept in touch via letters but over time you found they didn't really hate each other and actually Ethan really looked out for her but you don't really know that until later in the story.
Well done all around, lots of laughing out loud and a good story. When these two narrators and author get together it's a winner for me. 😂😂

Laughed out loud! 5 Bright Stars!

Joe Arden was just PERFECT voicing Ethan, and Erin Mallon was the perfect counterpart.

I did laugh out loud right off the bat, and many more times after that. It got more serious as it progressed to their college years, but there was still humor in their love/hate banter.

They both put their feet in their mouths many times, but they learn to overcome all the obstacles.

The ending was nicely wrapped, with every conflict nicely resolved.

I do recommend this audiobook!

Soooo Good

Both Joe and Erin were absolutely fantast as usual, I can usually get thru anything either of these two read regardless of storyline quality. But Forget you Ethan not only has great narrators but a wonderfully unique story too!! It held my attention the entire time, with just the right amount of angst and sexy times :) I typically do not like YA but even tho most of the book takes place while they are in college, these characters are not immature and did not annoy me at all lol

THE BEST!!!

Author, narrators, and story, made this a winner in all respects. When I see this team, 99 times out of 100, I am going to love the listen! I actually chuckled out loud! I am not going in to details because I don't think I can without spoilers. I did listen twice; back-to-back, and both times I was glad I had bought the audible edition.

great read!

I started this book on a whim and was so glad I did! For such a short book but the plot was super cute and engaging that it didn’t matter. It felt longer! I’m beginning to believe I’ll just love any romance that’s a mix between old school memories and present ones. High school history is always my favorite but these characters lived next door to each other made this one even sweeter. Their banter and chemistry was petty but cute. They acted like they hated each other but the way they looked out for each other, they were actually more best friends than enemies. Anyways, loved! Whitney G writes great shorter length novels and the narrators she chooses for her audiobooks really bring the books to life!

Unexpectedly Great

I really liked this book. It was cute but had layers to it. As the book progressed, those layers are removed and a wonderful story underneath is revealed. Its funny how it starts and how most of the book goes on with the letters and back and forth. But, as the story keeps going, it brings you in and gets deeper than you would expect.

The writing style is good and I like the narrators. They do a fantastic job. I just really loved this story!

Very fun listen

Rachel and Ethan had known each other since they were 7. It was insta hate. Yet they still exchanged letters through college, right up until they became room mates. Although they despised each other, they were also each others oldest and best friend.
A fun light hearted story with great witty one liners and a lot of heart for these characters.
Joe and Erin A+ delivery.

I’m just disappointed

I’ve listened to a few they write letters too each other story’s and I’m still looking for a good one....
It took me so long to get through this book considering how short it is. That being said I may not remember details since I listened in dosages.

It’s kinda cliche. The guy is popular, good looking, really smart and doesn’t have the best relationship with his dad.
The main girl is so annoying. most of the book I felt like she was either angry or sad. I understand that she’s emotionally driven but can she think logically sometimes too? I hate when people lash out and make choices/ say things that hurt others without at least listening to their side first.

The premise wasn’t bad and this could have been a super cute, light hearted story but sadly it just wasn’t for me.

I love this story!!

This is the best book. I have relistened to this story so often. Whenever I get bored trying to find another book I haven't listen to. This is one of my go back to. Love the humor.
