Publisher's Summary

Millionaire bad boy Jordan Fawkes has problems. Big problems. That molten-hot intern he hooked up with at Comic-Con is now his assistant. No one can know they're the stars of the cosplay sex tape that broke the Internet.

Business school hopeful April Weiss has drama. Big drama. Working under the CFO of Draco Multimedia should be the opportunity of a lifetime for her, but Jordan Fawkes is the boss from Hell - a sexier-than-sin boss from Hell who holds all the cards for her future career.

And then there's the small problem of a certain video....

This novel is part of the larger Gaming the System series, but can be heard as a standalone book. No knowledge of the events from the previous three books is required to enjoy this one.

WAY Too Long!!!

This story could have ended 15 chapters before actually did. I was kind of bored in the beginning and as It went on, there was so much talk talk talk, that I just lost interest and skipped to the end. The characters were eh, the story was eh, so read at your own risk if you have a ton of time. I’m not going on to the next book in the series.

I didn't want to stop listening!

What made the experience of listening to For the Win the most enjoyable?

This is a great book by Brenna Aubrey and the narrators brought this enjoyable story to life. Loved it!

Have you listened to any of Jason Clarke and Kirsten Leigh ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time I've listened to Jason Clarke, and only the second time I've heard Kirsten Leigh. I thought they both did a fantastic job. Very enjoyable to listen to.

What a start, what a reveal, what an ending!

I napped across the first book, At Any Price, on a Friday and listened to all four gaming books currently out in a weekend. YES, in one weekend. I was drawn in with the first book and found my self hooked. I had to know what happened next and didn't stop until I was out of books.

My husband is a gamer (Blizzard-WOW) and I am a book geek so I really related to April and Jordan in the fourth book. I enjoyed these books so much, I am now signed up for Brenna Aubrey's newsletter, reading her blogs and am anxiously awaiting the release of the fifth book, For the One. I'm sure it will also be amazing.

Loved!

This book had me from page one. Jordan hooks up with April at Comic-Con but she does not know it is her boss that she just had sex with. There is also one more problem, she has recorded the sexcapade, and some how that video was uploaded to the internet and has gone virile. Jordan has turned in to the boss from hell, to try to keep his distance from April. But a business trip out of the country is to much for them both and they hook up again. Will they be able to make it work or will the video tear them apart?

Total WIN

Everything from the narrators, story to the length of the book for the credit was a home run!

I listened to this book 1st before the 1st book in the series and it helped convince me to listen to the entire series.

I want more of April and Jordan's story... I'm excited to hear Williams...

Absolutely Phenomenal!

I read the book but listening to it was a completely different experience! Jordan and Snow White brought me into their world and I FELT every intense, loving, hot, sexy moment!

Brenna has an amazing talent and having the book narrated by a male and female was perfect! This by far has been my FAVORITE audio book and I don't know if any other will hold a flame to this one.

BRAVO AND I TIP MY HAT TO THIS PROJECT!

Another tense, emotional and sexy love story

What made the experience of listening to For the Win the most enjoyable?

Although the narrators were the same ones who did the voices of Mia and Adam in the first three books, you come to know their voices so well, it's pretty easy to get past that familiarity on new characters. Jordan had been painted as such an arrogant douche in the prior books, it was good to see his character develop. I don't think his maturity level was on par with Adam's for being the same age though.

What was one of the most memorable moments of For the Win?

Jordan stepping up and doing the right thing. Finally!

Which character – as performed by Jason Clarke and Kirsten Leigh – was your favorite?

April., Kirsten is an excellent April.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My only extreme reaction was a "oh no freaking way" when April had sex with Jordan and didn't know instantly that this was the same guy she'd had it with at Comic Con. I mean, seriously? Male anatomy, and scents and sounds and even their hands are distinctive. Figuring it out later that it's the same sex partner, when she is not terribly seasoned? That was hard to believe!

Any additional comments?

You can definitely enjoy this book without listening to the first three.

Wow so many feelings For the Win

I absolutely loved this audiobook. I’m amazed that it was so easy to follow along with all of the characters since it was a series but it was easy enough to catch everything. I went through so many emotions in this book. And that ending really has my heart racing. I thought Jordan was in danger. Jason Clarke was swoon worthy as Jordan and always allows me to really envelop the characters and the life of them as well. Kirsten was new to me and I thought she was fabulous as well. This audiobook was cast so well that it made hearing it a WOW experience. Definitely worth a credit and I definitely recommend it. I’m going to have to check out the other books in the series. Maybe check if I have any of them to whisper sink from my kindle. But I believe that this is my first book by Breanna Aubrey but definitely not my last❣️ I was lucky enough to win this audiobook and this is my opinion of the audiobook. 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

My favorite of the series so far

Is it because it was a new couple? Is it because I’d wanted to see Jordan change his stance regarding love since he was introduced? Is it because I’m a sucker for office romances AND secret relationships? I don’t know, but I really liked this one, and it’s my favorite of the series so far. I mostly missed one thing: the geek talk. Here, the characters are a finance genius and his assitant, so they don’t exchange pop culture references from games or movies. They have a few conversations around literature and fairytales, so there’s that. And Adam and Mia are still there as side characters, and April’s friend, Sid, is a geek of another level. It’s still the Gaming the system series, after all. Another strong theme of this book is family–the pressure from their expectations, the sense of entitlement from some parents, the disappointment… It was sad and so relatable. Narration was still excellent, and it was okay to have the same narrators for another couple.

Great characters

Jordan, oh how I love a bad boy. Jordan definitely needed someone to calm his boyish ways. This is a great storyline with lots of emotion written in. Fantastic performance from both Kirsten and Jason.

Jordan & April!

Brenna Aubrey has been on my to listen to list for a while, and when this opportunity to listen came up, I grabbed it and I am so glad I did. Aubrey has a way of writing that sucked me in from the beginning of the book and kept me riveted til the end. It's my kind of story. Not too angsty, just enough to keep the emotions running, and the story is totally entertaining. Jordan runs a gaming company, and April is his new intern. Little does she know, he is her anonymous one night stand...that had some consequences. Now the two are caught up in a push-pull romance, full of witty banter, steamy passion and a conclusion that just warms the heart. April is smart and pretty, but what she really wants is to make her father proud. Jordan is the perfect mix of charming and devilish. The two use their strengths to really pull the best out of each other without even realizing it. It's a reality tv show with a conscience! And a blast to listen to. With the narration team of Kirsten Leigh and Jason Clarke, the story comes alive. These seasoned performers bring out all the nuances of April and Jordan, making the conversation realistic and enhancing the story. I am going to go back and listen to the rest of this series!

Adored this story!

I LOVED this forbidden romance when I read it and I think the narration was fantastic. Love Jason Clarke's voice and Kirsten Leigh played April's role really well. This story was well-told, hot and a little bit emotional. Gorgeous!!
