A Fun and Enchanting Ride!
Floodlight is a light and fun romp through mythical Maryville, California, a city remarkable similar to Long Beach. The city museum located on a bluff with the beach below is the setting for some of the action and the notorious feral cats that live in brush along the cliffs earn a dishonorable mention. The story centers on two lesbian couples that find themselves on a magical adventure in Germany's Dark Forest. Elves, griffins, and fairies join in the fun. Soon the magic returns to Long Beach where political mystery blends seamlessly with a story rich with gay family values.

Enjoy a trip to a world just out of our reach
Floodlight was such a joyful listen! The story is full of twists and turns and reveals a world that is as routine as our daily lives while also holding hidden secrets just below the surface. I especially enjoy listening to books read by the author, and this one does not disappoint! I can’t wait to dive into books 2 & 3!
