Ton of fun

‘Flipping Out’ is fun from start to finish. If you’ve read the other stories you know what to expect, an interesting story, great characters and a couple of twists along the way and this book didn’t disappoint. I was laughing at Terry’s one liners from start to finish and guessing what was going to happen next. Well written I can’t recommend this series enough.

Mr. Stechschulte does a great job with the characters and really helps bring the story to life.

These Marshall Karp books are well plotted with nice surprises, a terrific sense of humor and very original.

Good story with a twist but I didn't find it a ha ha experience and I didn't find the characters very compelling - still - it was entertaining - a lot of tragedy and not enough comic relief to make me think of it as "comedy"

Loved It! 45 Stars!

This is professional entertainment at its best. Karp and Stechschulte have brought the comedy detective team of Lomax & Biggs back to life in a series you really should start from the beginning with "Rabbit Factory". Yeah...Karp shamelessly contrives the characters, clues, and scenics to make this a listen a frolic.

You like enjoyable? Then listen to this whole series. I sure will. Let's see, with "Flipping Out" I've given these books 45 STARS so far. And hopefully the next one will squeeze another 15 to that total. Can't wait to find out.

Great story.... moment to moment

I enjoy humor in a book, but usually the story isn’t that exciting when it has funny lines. This story is great, and it was fun and exciting to read.

Flipping Out Is Flipping Good

This was good, interesting baffling and comedic. A truly enjoyable listen. Didn't want to stop the story.

great narration, he can do a lot of different voices made it really fun. the story is original and the twist is a big surprise. well done!

I was expecting more comedy as it was compared to a Janet Evanovich book. I did not find it funny... but the mystery was there.

It felt like the author tried to put a little spin on the ending that fell short

Was Flipping Out worth the listening time?

It was better than a lot of other books I have listened to lately. I did listen all the way to the end, which I have not done with some other books in the last few weeks.

Would you consider the audio edition of Flipping Out to be better than the print version?

Since I have not read the print version, I can't answer this question. But I can say the audio was bang up awesome!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Oh, yes. The plot moves swiftly, and keeps you jumping from one solution to another.

What about Tom Stechschulte’s performance did you like?

His voices......most definately

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think, in this case, it was when I realized just what the whole thing was about. Because you think it's about one thing, but not! It's a whole other "thing"!!

This book turned me on to Marshall Karp. I am now addicted to the Biggs & Lomax series!

Easy listening!

Enjoyed the bantering between the characters. I listen to these books as I walk, made the 34 degrees this morning more tolerable.
